Am I the only human being on earth who dosen't like rise against?

Especially on this forum whenever someone starts talking about music there are always forumers that will mention rise against, could someone please explain the appeal to me please? Is it their political lyrics, or just the music, what is it?

Ahahaha, that would be Rage Against the Machine you're thinking of.

I like them for their message. Also, their early stuff is horrible in comparison to their later work.

I don't personally like them, but I bet a lot of people do like their political lyrics and I would assume some like their music aswell. subjective matters are well subjective matters.

I have never even fucking heard of them. But really, people like different types of music, different bands, and more often that nor different songs by the same band. In short music is subjective.

Not "Rage Against The Machine", but "Rise Against".
I personally love Rise Against, and i'd say it's a combanation of the vocals and the lyrics. They sing for a bigger reason than just making money, as many other artist.

This. Personally, I like Rise Against and probably a lot of people like them as well on these forums. Doesn't mean you're the only that doesn't though. You probably like groups that I don't like, I don't really care that much about it.

Actually quite alot of the people on here don't like Rise Against or haven't heard of them >.>
I do like them, I quite like the music but it's mostly the lyrics, it has a meaning that I get.

hmm, I think I'm giving off the wrong impression, I'm not trying to belittle people who enjoy them or whatever, I'm just curious where their fanbase comes from, and it seems like less people like them than I thought, which comes as a suprise.
