Am I too paranoid?

Right, I have recently got back into playing Far Cry 2, and I've always seemed to have a habit of always changing my weapons just before missions for a fresh copy at Mike's Bar. I just fear that, seeing as I play on infamous difficulty, the gun jamming can be the difference between me winning the dog fight or me dying. Does anyone else get this on Far Cry or am I just paranoid?

I'd say it's perfectly normal. I've got a similar habit where I reload compulsively, sometimes subconsciously in the middle of a firefight.

I do that in most games. I always try to go in as prepared as possible. It means you're normal.

Regardless of ammo left in a clip on any game, even when I'm playing online, if ive used 1 bullet I reload

You're not paranoid. You just want to be prepared. I always reload before a fight. Its better to have full clip ready instead of risking a force reload in the middle or at the very beginning of a fight.

You should always do that. It could mean the difference between life or death.

Any smart gamer will do this; better safe than sorry, as they say.

I do something similiar to this, in any online shooter I'll always make sure I have a full clip after a dog fight. A few bullets can mean the difference between victory and someone teabagging your corpse.

As long as you have an escape route planned, it can usually be okay. But I also, have your paranoia.

Isn't it reallllyyyy annoying?

In an FPS, I always, ALWAYS reload after I kill someone. Even if I fired a single bullet.

Ever.

Anyway, that's just smart playing.
2 words. Tin Hats. there is such thing as "too paranoid"

But this seems fine to me. (I'm also a compulsive reloader)

I played it on normal and I changed my guns at every chance that I got.

I just recently overcame my obsessive-compulsive reloading habit, which I suffer from in almost every FPS.

That's paranoia mixed with insanity.
To me, anyway.
Too paranoid due to insanity possibly, but still Too paranoid.

Nothing wrong with that. The game's kinda designed for you to buy the guns and get a new one as often as possible, as opposed to picking 'em up from dead guys. You're playing right.
