Not at all. Musical taste, and taste in any art form at all is purely personal and for self pleasure, its not about social status, or at least it shouldn't be. As it was once put so well, you can't fake it, you'll end up hating the medium if you try.

Nope. This just means that some of your friends are very narrow minded and insecure about 'being cool'. If you like something, you like it. There's a reason why classical music is still listened to these days. It is good. The stuff that has made it to the current day has survived the test of time, unlike Generic Rap Song #31,432 or Forgettable Pop Ballad #8,824,482.

It's funny how your friends, who seem to have some kind of anti-racialism-agenda, by emphazing the value of "black" (read: non-white) cultrue, in contrast to european culture, actually commit an act of racism by implying that a non-caucasian person can't like classical music.
No, you are not white. Now if you actually were white as my walls then yes, you are literally white as can be, but thats not the point. Look at it this way, there is no problem with liking classical music. I do, mostly because I play the cello, and that doesn't mean there are any problems with me. If you really want people to stop calling you white there are only a few solutions, 1, do something to make yourself "edgier"/stronger, aka, work out, become bigger and better than everyone else. They won't call you white and you will get more respect from most people. 2 is to do something like skydive or something like that. If your not willing to do something like that (i mean, who would), then just ignore it and it will go away.AceAngel said:
