After a cursory forum glance I could only find on post pertaining to this in an inactive thread.
I'd like to think of it as my sworn duty as a gamer/comic lover to bring this little gem into the forefront of discussion.
After the 1996 'DC Vs. Marvel Comics' mini series collaboration, the two publishers merged their respective universes together to create Amalgam Comics. This combined universe featured superheroes which were fusions of a Marvel hero and a DC counterpart.
These pseudosuperheroes included the likes of:
Dark Claw (Batman/Wolverine) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dark_Claw
Iron Lantern (Iron Man/Green Lantern) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iron_Lantern
Amazon (Storm/Wonder Woman) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amazon_(Amalgam_Comics)
Spider-Boy (Spiderman/Superboy) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spider-Boy
Super-Soldier (Captain America/Superman) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super-Soldier
And also many more, detailed across wikipedia without any direct pages of their own featuring pictures.
I was just wondering if anyone actually had any Amalgam Comics comics in their collections, myself bing unfortunate enough to be both too young and too English at their time of publication to ever have a chance of purchasing and reading them.
Also, if you were given the job by Amalgam Comics, which superheroes or villains would you combine?
