Amazing Fable 3 trailer

Despite all my skepticism about this game and Molyneux, even I got goosebumps watching this:


They seem to be setting up an interesting dynamic between you and your brother here, I love the look in his eyes as he sees who is leading the revolt against him.

I'll certainly be getting it ( I did quite enjoy Fable 2 despite the flaws), and I really hope I get to kill Reaver.

Add to this a voice cast including Simon Pegg, John Cleese, Jonathan Ross, Stephen Fry, Michael Fassbender, Sir Ben Kingsley, Zoe Wanamaker, Bernard Hill...

Do you guys think Fable 3 will live up to the hype?

More customisation and control, and less bugs, will make it better then Fable 2. Also, make wearing clothes worth something
On the other hand, having a bunch of soldiers under my command will be cool. I'll dress them up cool and equip them with the best weaponry money can buy

Its been like this with EVERY game. The new Star Wars MMO has been the biggest culprit lately. pre-rendered scenes have zero to do with what the game will be.

It's just a badass trailer, that's all.

It's obviously marketing but that doesn't mean it's not enjoyable.

At the very least it looks better than Fable II. Hopefully it has more action than the second game; I don't care that much about having a family.

I am, for the most part, of the same mindset as you. I didn't like many certain aspects of Fable 2, but as a game, it kept my attention long enough and I felt like I got my money's worth out of the purchase. But I do not agree with this 'killing Reaver' sentiment you propose.

Plus, if the reworked multipalyer aspect is done properly, this'll be a contender for favourite game of the year for sure. Can't wait for its release now ^^

EDIT: Does it make me a bad person that after seeing this trailer, I've automatically sided with the monarchy? Damn, those guard outfits look shweet. Don't feed the proles, and death to the dissidents!

Aye, I really hope they abuse the living shit out of the names they've got on the voice actor list (in a good way). Not like Yahtzee's gripe on Fallout 3 of killing off your biggest name halfway through the campaign (after he's been missing for the first half, too. Loved the game though).

Simon Pegg, John Cleese, Stephen Fry... shit, i'd buy this game regardless of every other aspect.

Have you forgotten the massive disappoint that was Fable I & II? We all fell for the bullshit and bought II anyway, are we really going to fall for that again.

Im bettin good money its gonna be a great game, because despite their flaws, fable 1 and 2 were both great games, and they seem to only be getting better. I love the fable franchise and every feature in this new one makes me glow with excitement . Enough to shell out the 100 bucks for the limited edition at that..XD.

I will be getting it. The voice actors have made that a fact for me. Zoe Wanamaker, Stephan Fry, John Cleese, yes please. Will it live up to the hype. I want to say yes but the chances are not likely. THen again, I swear the hype is less this time around so maybe it will, or I've been living under some rocks.

Eh. I've been pumped for this game since before Fable 2 came out. I love the Fable series, but I am just confused how everyone found this trailer so amazing. It was... meh. Nothing special. It's not gonna be like that, I know that for sure. I am still dying to play this though.

This will never happen.

That's not to say I didn't like Fable II of course, because I did. But it's fookin' Molyneux. The man is a font of... of... something very outlandish that can't possibly be delivered.
