Amazing Spider-Man 2 Alternate Ending Revives Dead Character

What they should have done was include this, and then cut to a scene of Kraven the Hunter interrogating a woman that is hanging from chains in a prison cell, only to hear Kraven say "So, tell me about your husband's work...Mrs Parker." And then have the camera pull back to show Peter's mother. And then cut to Aunt May looking over her shoulder as she enters a secret basement in the house, to then find her nursing an unconscious Gwen Stacy back to health. I think that would have set things up nicely.

That kinda sounds better than the Rhino ending... except I would assume the Aunt May scene would be that end-credit bonus akin to a Marvel movie...

OT: Wow... I never thought I would be emotionally invested in a scene coming from the Amazing Spider-Man films outside of Gwen Stacy... I was proven wrong...

erm. the beginning of the second movie kinda already shown us that the parents didnt die. they killed the bad guy and were in a falling plane, when one woudl asusme they would get out of it before it crashed. i mean, they dont look like complete morons that would just sit and wait for death. altrogh this is a spiderman movie, pretty much 90% people are morons there.

ech, not really logical there. when i saw the "Death" scene for the first time i wasnt even thinking of her bumping the head. the catch like that would have snapped her back and neck instantly leading to death whether she hit the ground or not.

Is anyone else not buying the "confused, frustrated, rage" with which Peter is shaking his father? As soon as I saw that I thought "You're spiderman. You have super strength. You should be tossing him around like a rag doll due to your anger/surprise/frustration. How are you accosting him with no more strength than would be exhibited by a skinny 20 year old?"
