After spending 6 hours bouncing between EA and Amazon last night after discovering my SimCity game had been removed from my Origin library, I discovered that while I had initially blamed this on EA, it turns out that Amazon has some sort of glitch where at least some of its customers (I doubt I was the first) "lost" their game because Amazon neglected to pay EA. So while Amazon recognizes that I have paid for the game and have not asked for a refund, EA is convinced that I have. The ETA to fixing this is unknown and in the meantime, I am left with a $60 game, that I had been thoroughly enjoying without issue, that I can't play. If this also means that I miss out on my free game from EA, then I am going to be incredibly pissed. As is, I want to ask Amazon for at least a partial refund for the rather substantial problem of me not being able to play my game. Has anyone else on here had this problem?
I would not be nearly so upset, but they also got my copy of Heart of the Swarm to me a day late, and while I had been living at home after a car accident and surgery to fix my broken leg, I moved back to my apartment Tuesday and can hardly expect my parents to drop everything and come visit just because a package arrived late.
