Since it is 4th of July, I feel nothing is more appropriate than to discuss what started it all, The Revolution.

Ill start this thread with a badass picture.

EDIT: A few questions,

1. Are You Glad It Happened?

2. Could the Americans Have won without French support?

3. Could the American victory have been one big stroke of luck?
----------------------------------------------------------------

1. Obviously Im glad it happened, if it didnt I wouldent have been born most likely.

2. I doubt it.

3. Honestly, When you think about it, we shouldn't have won, the North American theatre is the only place where the British lost, the American victory is nothing short of a victory.

We let you win that wAR. we couldnt be bothered outting in the effort required to put you in your place as we had more important interests elsewhare in the empire. You should also remember that we were at war in a number of different places at that time so you never faced the full might of the British Empire.
One day, we will come for what is rightfully ours =P

The country needs another revolution. I think government is great and needed but the people in those positions are pretty fucking corrupt and stupid. But they are smart where they can push the people so far that they get mad, but not mad enough to take action.

Oh Really?

Well we are meant to be getting our aircraft carriers soon, but until then you have us beat, at the moment.

We used to be so much more powerful at sea, nowadays are boats trundle around only on half power.

Our teachers always said that the British had a disadvantage wearing red, but how much better was blue really? (I'm honestly asking this questions it's always bugged me)

And to quote Apu selling fireworks "celebrate your countries freedom by blowing up a small part of it"

Really? Is that the kind of crap they're using now? So Britain got beaten by a bunch of colonists 300 years ago, big deal! Do we really need to make up silly excuses like that?

Well they didn't say that's the whole reason but red is obviously poor camouflage, I just wondered how much better blue was. I was "taught" this at a very young age so the reason was simplified.

Well, it did seem to be a bright red compared to a dark blue. I think that dark colors work better for quasi-guerrilla warfare.

However bright red does provide the "Oh my God, they don't bleed! They're demons!" advantage.
