I have similar thoughts simply because I figure the last thing any celebrity player would do is reveal their actual character/server except to perhaps a very select group of people.
What's more I'll be honest in saying "I have a level 33 character" in WoW as basically saying "I've turned it on and played a little". This isn't elitism based on the idea of everyone needing to be a level 80 raider or PVPer or they aren't a "real" player. Despite me being a fairly dedicated 10 man raider (I raid twice a week to farm the 10 man content pretty much every week even if I don't do anything else in WoW for other games, or more accuratly RL reasons).
Simply put nowadays you can do level 33 pretty quickly as the beginning content has become relatively easier due to various changes they installed into the game over the years. I only have one "Real" character most of my alts tend to lose their fire around that level because truthfully it's the mid-30s when things start to slow down a bit from the rocket quick pace of advancement. Or more accuratly I usually think "gee, I could be using this time to go do something involuted for my main character" once it starts to take some effort.
It could be an attempt to get the nerdly fanbase to support her, and help propel her career. Or it could be that she is genuine, in which case she has a level 33 disposable character she will allow to be located fairly easily, where she will attempt to solicit gold and gifts, before transferrring all of the obtained loot to another toon and switching to another server. Pretty much the typical WoW "Honey Trap" with the female newbie, albeit with a celebrity at the helm.
Ah well, I guess all of this means I'm mean, jaded, and cynical.
Last year during the Spike Video Game Awards, I remember Marissa Miller giving her XBL handle which was "Pussy Pounder" if I remember. I see this in a similar light, and before you ask, no I did not look her up.
