Exactly what I am doing. If in a hypothetical the world is going to end in 2 years and those 2 years will be 2012, we won't know about it and I'd do the exact same thing I do everyday. Game, have fun.

How many of these events have we HAD in the past, what, 5 years?

The latest one I can think of is that the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico was going to release all the pressure holding back a methane bubble the size of Europe, and that the entire planet was going to be wiped out by a massive Earth Fart.

Which extinction level event? Are we talking a meteorite that will obliterate us all in a flash or a long slow extinction that will occur when the bees are all dead?

If we're talking death in a flash, probably just continue and maybe just go nuts just before the end. If we're talkig long and slow it'll probably result in us all basically starving to death or dying while fighting to survive.

I think the OP is referencing Deep Impact, so assume a meteor. Although a meteor would probably cause mass casualties, it probably wouldn't kill everyone particularly fast (unless it was ridiculously large).

I'd probably go visit my sister and maybe my ex.
