Well well Escapist. I've come to an impass here.

I've got $620 to spend. Now, $120 of that has to be spent on 2 required items (A pre-planned game reserve for Bad Company 2, and a new PC Headset), leaving $498 leftover. (I always ignore at least $2.00 in my account so it doesn't zero out.)

Now comes the problem. I have three seperate plans. All of them I'd be happy with, but I can't decide which one I want more. Let me explain out fully:

Plan 1:
Bleach: The Complete 4th Season (DVD) - $50
Bayonetta or Lost Planet 2 (Xbox 360) - $65
Wii Remote (So I have 2 complete sets) - $40
District 9 (DVD) - $25
Inglourious Bastards (DVD) - $20
Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory (DVD) - $40
Mario Kart Wii (Wii) - $55

Leftover Money: Approx. $240 (To be used to play paintball, go see movies, food, etc.)

Plan 2:
Playstation 3 250GB (So I'll now own all three major gaming consoles along PC) - $380
Metal Gear Solid 4 (PS3) - $34
MAG (PS3) - $65

Leftover money - Approx. $15 (For food)

Plan 3:
Bleach: The Complete 4th Season $50
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex Complete Set - $44
Wii Remote (So I have 2 complete sets) - $40
Mario Kart Wii (Wii) - $55
Xbox 360 Wireless Controller (So I have 3 controllers now) - $50
Amry of Two: The 40th Day (360) - $60
The Hurt Locker (DVD) - $20
Terminator Salvation (DVD) - $20

Leftover money - $159 (For paintball, movies, games, etc.)

So which plan would you take? Or if you had to combine the plans, spending no more than $498 (Tax and Shipping/Handling Included), what would you do?

I would go for option two personally. But then, I wouldn't already have an Xbox 360. I'm not sure what I would do if I were you (Aside from being a bit suprised).

One or three.

If you have a 360, it;d be a waste of money getting something that similar.

Rent and burn those DVDs that will save some cash. The games are up to you. Try buying just one and playing it out then move on to the next. I would really do what Triffid said and save your money.

We're at an impass here, maybe we can compromise. All we wanna do is eat your brains, we're not unreasonable, no-one's gonna eat your eyes.

I can't really say which. I never make a pre-set bunch of options, I find it harder to choose among small numbers. Good luck, though.

I'd say 2, just to have all the major platforms. MAG hasn't wowed me so far, but hell, try it and if you don't like it, trade it in!

Analysis
Plan 1: Scratch the games as they will eventually come down in price or go visit some pawn shops. Also check the pawn shops to see if any of the DVDs you're after are there.
Plan 2: Again see if you can find a PS3 slim in a pawn shop (I don't know what the PS3 break down track record is, so if your concerned about that it would be best to pick a fresh one up. Other than that I'd just recommend biding your time until god of war 3 comes out in a PS3 bundle.
Plan 3: I'd probably slag buying a 3rd 360 controller, and again as I said above check the pawn shops for the DVDs/ games you want.
Conclusion: Plan 2 because you get a blu ray player, free online gaming, and god of war 2 eventually.

Well first off, your problem is that you're BUYING anime. Fan subs are so damned good and you get to stay up to date, but that's all opinion. (Also, Bleach has become shit lately with its' endless, horrible filler ;-;)

I'm going to have to go with Plan 2, because buying Movies and anime is generally a no-no for me (Hell, you're going to pay to watch the things, why not just rent it? Are you really going to watch them 18 1/2 times again so soon after watching it the first time?) though I'd check into the game you care to buy more. Make damned sure you'll enjoy the games and they'll last you a while (Again, renting is a good thing.)

With that kind of money, I'd wait until Daft Punk goes on tour again.

Note 1: This isn't all my money. This is my leftover, "Do with it what you will money" not the amount I saved or used for other nessacities.

Note 2: I don't burn/steal things, nor do I enjoy renting things. And I don't go to pawn shops because I don't want people's used crap. Particularly people's used electronic crap.

Note 3: Yes, I do watch my movies and DVDs many times. Hell, I've watched Independance Day and Red VS. Blue more times than I can count, to name a couple. Also, you ever try using Joost or Youtube or any of those other sites at 10:00 PM on Friday on a college campus? You'd be lucky to finish an episode of Red VS. Blue by Sunday, much less a 25 minute show.

Note 4: I don't play instruments.

Note 5: I did say you could pick and choose from amongst the lists, you're not limited to just the 3 choices.

Note 6: Yes, I was being over-dramatic in my opening. So sue me.

None!

Just go and buy Weeds, season 1-5... Best TV show ever (excluding South Park and maybe BSG) But yeah, just buy Weeds, it's all sorts of awesome and then spend the rest of the money on... I don't really know or care.

Watch the bleach on youtube and pirate the movies like everyone else. that oughta clear up some space.
