This has been bothering me for awhile. One of the X-box 360's debut game was Perfect Dark Zero. This game confused me. On the back of the box the game said in big bold letters "In the future, corporations control everything except for one thing.."
This game was published by MICROSOFT! and it had Samsung advertisements in it!
While that's the most obvious case of this plenty of other games have similar messages (Jet Set Radio Future jumps to mind.)
Fortunately the anti-corporate theme has been shown less in video games (Army of Two not withstanding).
Are there any other examples you can think of?
Edit: come to think of it. The same hypocrisies can be seen anti-government games (Half Life 2). The whole stick-it-to-the-man does make for amusing premise but with in game advertisement and corporate dickery, I always feel like and idiot playing these games.
