Android Alarm Clock Not Working

Hello everyone, I seem to have messed up with my phone somehow. I use a Huawei U8650 with Android 2.3.5. Recently I've had troubles with my alarm clock. I turn on the alarm, and then it doesn't ring until I turn on the screen. Literally, the moment the screen lights up the music starts playing.

I don't think I've installed any apps as of late, and I even tried another alarm app, just to make sure the problem is universal, as it indeed turned out to be.

Any ideas, people?

Never ran into that issue myself, though I suggest backing up all your stuff and doing a factory reset. That should fix any problem you might be having unless it's hardware related (unlikely but possible).
