android video player

I'm after a media player for android that can speed up video and includes a volume boost.
anyone know one?

I'm not 100% sure, but I imagine VLC for Android should do both of these things?

It does playback speed, certainly.

yup no volume boost which sucks cause it does it on Pc.
far as I can tell everything that does speed boost doesn't do volume boost and vice versa

Adjusting playback speed is supposed to be a feature in the beta for MX Player [https://sites.google.com/site/mxvpen/translation/test-build] and I know the current version supports volume boost. It's my player of choice because I'm yet to find a file it won't play (though you'll need to install manually install this codec [http://www.phonearena.com/news/How-to-restore-full-audio-codec-support-AC3-DTS-in-MX-Player-Androids-best-video-playback-app_id64435] for licencing reasons), it supports video streams and remembers your playback position.

yup that looks like it's the one
got the beta version now and I'll check it out and grab the full version if it is any good
