Pretty sad news this morning, Andy Whitfield lost his battle with cancer.

I was really hoping he would recover and maybe have a cameo or something in the next season, from the outakes, behind the scenes stuff, and interviews he seemed like a real down to earth guy.

This sucks, guy was a sweet actor. However, I kinda saw it coming, guy was fightng it for a while and no news about him getting any better was being released, that is almost always a bad sign. Fuck you cancer.

I didn't even know he had cancer, but then they didn't continued Spartacus over here after the first season so I never realized he wasn't in the second.

It's a shame he got cut down in the prime of his life, and his career.

That's sad. I didn't like the series, but the guy was too young and had a family, so its a real shame.
