Anger Issues?

I have friends who get extremely angry when they lose at any given game. I'm curious to see if anyone else does this, what games do it for them, and if they broke anything.
If you don't, what do you think is an acceptable level of rage at a particularly frustrating game or level?

I don't have anger issues, I simply see violence as the most efficient solution to my problems.

Yes. When I die, and usually have to restart a level, I use the phrase "WTF" to great extent.
But my friends say the way I do it is funny, So I won't be stopping anytime soon.

I am extremely patient. but if something gets broken you need to put down the controller and try something else for awhile.

A nice warm cup of Shut the Fuck Up seems to calm my team mates issues and gripes.

I get severely frustrated when i have to restart something from the beginning 50 million times.(On a sidenote I will NEVER finish Hitman: Codename 47)
But, never to the point where I break something.

I've only had one really rage filled moment. I only vaguely remember it but I accidentally smashed one of my controllers on the floor. It shattered like glass. o_o

iv broken some games when they really pissed me off. also me and the son of the foster famly that took me in got into a small fight over Super Smash Bros. Brawl. he would just do the same move over and over again. i think that's kind of cheating, and even if its not its still really annoying.

i take meds for my anger problems, and i think i have gotten a lot better, im no longer getting in fights at the park.
how old are you? :S

Anyone who knows me knows I am extremely laid back, so I guess the answer is no. Loosing happens all the time in life, I mean you can have a winning streak that lasts all your life but the "game" doesnt have credits its just Game Over so you better get used to losing cos' you were born to ultimately loose... provided they dont stop aging. :D

I end up yelling or cursing at games pretty frequently but I'm never actually that angry at all. Like I will be laughing again 20 seconds later. I've never thrown or broken something or gotten into a fight or anything like that. My friends say I just like to make noise lol. :)

Depends on the situation, sometimes I become incredibly angry and scream at my computer, but it's generally because of viruses or poorly made programs... sigh...

I get angry at the game mechanics usually, and its not normally when I lose. For instance when I get killed while playing RE5 multiplayer I rage hard. Because whose bright idea was it to make a multiplayer mode in a game where you cannot run n' gun, not to mention that damn inventory system.

But I keep going back because I love the franchise so much, clever capcom bastards.

its not so unnatural to feel a bit of rage at losing, someone might think they should of done better, feel annoyed that one person had more practice, hate losing etc...however its a problem if they start winging their controllers at Tv's, screaming, and hulk smashing their system.

I generally call the game out for being cheap, or punishing me for trying to be innovative, I might grit my teeth, and clench my fist, but ive yet to break anything or anyone.

I get frustrated when game AI is pissing me off. Case in point: Msss Effect. Your "teammates" are about as useful as a poop-flavored popsicle. Another example is in COD2 when your teammates constantly run into your line of fire prompting the "You're a traitor to the motherland!" message >.<

Only time I get annoyed with a game is if the game is being cheap, you know the drill, CAPCOM BOSS'S
everyone of them are cheap.

Dom, Gears 2, insane. Utterly retarded. Caused me so many game overs...

COD4 online can be very frustrating when there is a host advantage.

It always gets my goat when you've clearly unloaded half a clip into the back of someone's head, they turn around and insta kill you, and you see in the killcam that he was so far ahead of you that on his screen you didn't even fire off a shot.

I used to have some real anger issues, but never against games. Besides, I got over them, mostly. I still want to kill god for making it rain almost every time I have to work outside.

used too. it was with halo and halo 2. used to get pissed off beyond belief when someone beat me. but then again that could be because of the fact they always gloat about how good they where when they won.
