I tried to install Worms on my PC and for some god-forsaken reason the entire thing died and I had to re-install Windows. This caused me to snap the Worms disc in half. I still haven't figured out why the hell that happened though. And I never even got to play the game.

The circus of meat level in Pyschonauts. Especially that damned trapeze section.

When I was like 13 I was playing a NCAA Basketball game for my SNES, I don't remember what went wrong but I do remember that I tore the cartridge apart with my hands.

Oh hell yeah. That got me so close to deleting it.
I nearly threw my shiny new LCD through the window on that bit - I just wanted to boot the young Oleander into the meat grinders. There was also that section on the level against Raz's dad where you had to traverse a metal cylinder (on fire) and that was the most ridiculous bit of platforming I've ever done.

I was so close to chalking "fuck it" on Psychonauts and I've finished F-Zero GX story mode on Very Hard, now that's some patience :p

Rayman for the Gamecube.

Boss fight on some platform. The only thing that could hurt the boss were those stronger fists on the side. every time I got an upgrade, or was close to it, I would be hit by a fireball that circled the platform and I would almost die because of the fire under the platform. But because those upgrades had a very low time limit, I would upgrade, get hit, be forced to climb up again and lose the upgrade the second I was on the platform.
It was only after 2 days of trying to beat the damn boss that I got so angry I threw my controller at the wall and it broke the control stick.

Actually CoD4 made me seethe on a number of occasions, primarily due to your fellow imbeciles sitting there while you valiantly ran into Spawnsville hoping to catch that split second window of calm. If you did manage to push through, your fellow imbeciles would THEN move forward. The incessant quotes on death just added to the fun.

~The new Day of Defeat source beta.

On several of the levels there are places where you can shoot through the walls. The viewpoint seems to allow people to look/shoot at targets, but without the other guy being able to see anything other than the end of the gun poking through the wall.
It's a game wrecking bug when people discover it.

Have any of you seen Kung Pow: Enter the Fist? Remember the scene where he's practicing to remove the metallic triangles and fails? His reaction was me fighting Night Terror on SCIII. Now, though, I just do what the AVGN does and throw a pen across the room.

Some may laugh at me for this, but the last mission on Rogue Leader: Rogue Squadron II, on the GC. I could get into the death star, sure. I could fly to the core, no worries. Flying out, however, without the slightest screw up causing me to flail pathetically into the wall, and be incinerated like crispy chicken?

Cue one broken wavebird, following it's sudden and unavoidable "bump" with the opposing wall.

Never did finish the damn thing...

Most CoD4 multiplayer games I join these days.

For the n00bs: if your ping is red, get the hell outta my room

If 3 or 4 of yourteammates are at a corner, all trying to do the sneak around and get a kill, don't do the same: it's like your painting a sign asking for a grende to be thrown, and yoour usually standing right behind someone so they can't run away...

FFS!! If your whole team is heading 1 way and getting SLAUGHTERED, stop going around that certain corner, and try and flank!!

Just do me huge favour, and stay the hell away from me! I know how too shoot, and I don't want to get my position given away for a wild spray from a bloody n00b shooting at someone other side of map

I've totally given up CoD4: the Police were called to my house, as the neigbours thought me and my brother were killing each other...

I won't laugh at you. That was a VERY frustrating mission

God of War - Hell...god damn hell. It wasn't the enemies that were a bother, it was when you have to walk on spiked moving pillars while dodging arrows tying to rape your ass. Then you have to climb up the wall of death and one damn touch sends you back to the beginning. I remember everytime I fail I would punch my bed and scream with insane frustration.

Odin Sphere - possibly one of the most frustrating game I've ever played. It was a good game, but damn dodging practically everything with a limited amount of moves and health really wanted me to become the hulk. Everytime I would throw the controller and punch something out of the sheer impossible mission I had to complete.

Good question...I've gotten agitated by certain games, but never truly "pissed". I suppose the aforementioned RC Chopper level from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas where I'm trying to drop bombs on cars, then land the thing with an unbelievably tiny tank of gas was the most frustrating. I would bomb all the cars, then inevitably run out of fuel on the way back. Luckily it was a side mission, so I could ignore it. Still haven't beaten it.

The Red Baron mission off of GTA San Andreas caused much frustration, its a model plane, why are there so many enemies, why does it matter that it returns before fuel is out? Go out and pick it up! Finally passed it and many a mate had a newfound respect for me after that.
God of War, the challenges of the gods bonus mission, I would find the last one IMPOSSIBLE and would eventually give up, of course, when I felt like trying again I'd have to redo the other challenges.
CoD4 multiplayer- I love it to death but when you are experiencing some immense lag, the replays become painful reminders of your slow internet. You look like you're doing ok, then the bugger you've stabbed 14 times in the back of the nape picks up on the swoosh sounds and calmly turns to blow your lagging arse off. Booooo!
