And this, folks, is why we need tax harmonization in european union. If all main taxes in EU were equal, comapnies could stay at home and not run to whoever offers the best tax deal. There is a reason why there are more companies registered in San Marino than in whole European union - 0 corporate tax rate.

Do they actually need that lower tax rate? I mean they have every right to move but it seems oddly pointless considering how well their products sell.

Never gonna happen. You cannot have a unified tax system while maintaining individuality within each country, and given that the Eurozone looks more like imploding every week, countries are more likely to want to distance themselves from a unified Europe than to seek further integration.

They need it the same as any corporation needs to pay less out: To maintain as high a degree of profitability as they can. Granted, since Rovio is privately held the money isn't going to shareholders, but the idea is much the same.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

I don't like this. Nothing good or wealthy ever stays in Finland. Time and time and time and time again.

I did ask why they NEED them...testers? please. Programmers? Please. Developers? Hardly. I can do those 3 jobs myself, 1 person, and pull out sth better out of my ass than angry birds. SUPPORT CENTER? You see what i mean with the NEED part? I have little to no doubt 80% of this company is marketing leechers and spokespeople from Hell.

Lol, okay. Go ahead and tell them to fire all those people. I'm sure you know much better than that extremely successful company.

Yes you can. The individuality is how you use the collected taxes, not the rates you colelct upon. Unified tax rate for major taxes (VAT, corporate tax, ect) is a good idea. Infact VAT harmonization is aprtly true, there are boundaries now (between 15% and 25%). Eurozone implosion was at its closes during the apex of Greece Crysis. And even then it was not close to blowout. The Spain problems so far are relatively small, however they do are trying to hide them which makes it worse. Further integration is being sought after by many other european countries at the moment and i personally know a few people who are working on it to happen. Noone is scared about EU collapsing but few misguided individuals. It is ultimately more likely that USA will collapse due to its huge debt than EU. infact, the only reason USA is still holding is because they pretty much monipolized worlds international currency market, and thus the dollar stays afloat. (fact that it owns third of worlds economy helps too).

Testers are needed. Else we get alfa- version of product as the final release (it happened before, id rater they hire testers than make paid clients testers that dont get paid). Prorammers are needed in any game manufacturing. that simply is the truth. the larger the game is the more you need them. Angry birds arent very large though. Developers, its usually founders that take that position. It is very good that you are the internet age suprman and can do everything yourself, remind me how much did you sell this year?
Yes, marketeers and spokepoeple are often overhired but such games liek Angry birds are alive because of them, frankly, i played it, its ok for when your bored and got no acess to computer, but thats about it. its a one-time game, the fame really only works because of the hyping.
