I don't mind angry gamers. I just mind the obnoxious, loud kind you find in multiplayer sometimes. It's really uncool to acted like an asshole if you're angry. Keep it to yourself.

rant videos (comedic or otherwise) are still okay though.

I get a kick out of it when all talk is on and some one is raging, especially when its me causing it. But the 10 year old's are the worst.. Those god awful loud mickey mouse squeaks they let out.. its infuriating. It's almost like I can't mute them fast enough once they say a single syllable.

I like sending this message to angry gamers for epic rage responses:

What the fuck did you just fucking say about me, you little *****? I'll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Navy Seals, and I've been involved in numerous secret raids on Al-Quaeda, and I have over 300 confirmed kills. I am trained in gorilla warfare and I'm the top sniper in the entire US armed forces. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you the fuck out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my fucking words. You think you can get away with saying that shit to me over the Internet? Think again, fucker. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of spies across the USA and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. You're fucking dead, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can kill you in over seven hundred ways, and that's just with my bare hands. Not only am I extensively trained in unarmed combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the United States Marine Corps and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ass off the face of the continent, you little shit. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little "clever" comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your fucking tongue. I've only ever raged at a game twice, and both times i was pretty quite, and pretty much emotionless.

I get angry pretty often but I hardly lash out on friends/family whenever they're involved.

However when I was a raid leader in World of WarCraft I often got sick and tired of hand-holding fellow guild members even after the several nerfs on Icecrown Citadel (Lich King Raid). Out of the ten raiders there were maybe 4-5 competent ones; our main tank, our main healer, our off-tank, our hunter (ranged DPS) and myself (combat or assassination rogue). Everyone else was awful and the only reason why we let them play with us was because we knew them for a while and while they weren't nearly as skilled they were devoted. Back in 2010 this raid had become easier over the course of several months and we were not clearly as fast as we should have been. We were wiping on several bosses that weren't really that hard but because they had a hard time following directions and pulling their own weight the entire raid team suffered.

Some nights I would become infuriated that there were only two good damage dealers while everyone else couldn't understand simple rotation and game play mechanics. Our undead warlock had consistently gotten destroyed by Cyndragosa (sp?) and blamed his death on horrible lag (he later admitted he was drunk). Because I was the top damage dealer in the guild I would take my time to sit down and talk with people about how they should play and gear/spec their class efficiently for maximum potential.

We also had a paladin tank (who was replaced after one month) that was not only the whiniest and most self-entitled player in our group she was also awful. We would clear most of the content we had already finished before and would want to leave an hour early because she was tired or bored (she had agreed to show up at a specific time and stay until a specific time). I understand real life is more important but she only cared about herself. Our main tank would have to compete with her for better gear (we believed in fairness at one point) causing him to be weaker overall because she was a loot whore. We eventually replaced her with several tanks over the course of our runs.

We also had member(s) who didn't understand the "stay out of the fire" mechanic and they would be dead early on during boss fights causing our already poor raid DPS to drop even more. So by the end of our time with ICC we had almost completely fallen apart. I went from a slightly cocky but fair and understanding raid leader (there were three of us) to an elitist jerk (so to speak). I was no longer afraid to call people out on their bull**** and sometimes I rubbed people the wrong way. So yeah I was pretty frustrated to say the least but we did end up killing the Lich King at the end but by that time the drama had increased and players lost their focus so we had maybe 5 or 6 members left while we filled in the rest with people outside our guild that we knew.

a) Correcting grammar and spelling and pointing out that I'm bullshitting.
b) Someone who gets it and sends a friend request.
c) An audio message from some squeaky voiced teenager telling me to get a life.
d) Someone who doesn't get I'm trolling and gets their parents to respond for them. Also a report.

The best responses happen if you send it to loud, annoying kids. You'll risk getting reported and suspended, though.

I get annoyed when people rage at others, if I find myself getting angry/frustrated I just calmly quit before I start raging at the game/others because I'd feel hypocritical not to.

I imagine there's some immensely complicated brain chemistry going on when people get angry at a game and because of that some people are simply more susceptible to rampages. In that way it's unfair to blame them, like blaming somebody for being mentally handicapped. Your actions are happening before your thoughts. However, angry gamers know who they are and unlike the mentally handicapped they're normally lucid. It is then their responsibility to keep themselves from getting to a point where they'd damage other people's property. That's as far as I'll judge. If they let themselves yell their lungs out, so be it. If they let themselves punch everything near them, so be it. If they complain about it that's another issue.
