When I first heard about it, I thought it was just an extra long episode. Then I realized it was a real, as in in theaters, movie.

I think what people need to realize is theres a difference between the kind of Cheese presented in this movie than in typical B-rate movies.

You can tell they had a low budget, but they made it work for them by making everything else SOOOOO over the top that it actually looks fun.

What im saying is you can tell some time and love went into making this movie, and obviously its got a direction that is different from other movies because its based off a low-grade youtube star who is also a nerd.

I think if your a nerd and you like video games you should see this movie just based off the fact its another gamers dream movie, made for gamers!

I have to be honest, the trailer has me pretty interested. It honestly looks a lot higher quality than I would have expected, and I like the classic references like "speed up, speed down", and in general it seems pretty funny.
The whole trailer was a pretty goosebump raising cool moment, I'm looking forward to it.

What's so terrible about it? It looks like a movie, a cheap one, but what do you want for less than a million of budget? Even cheap, it looks well-made and with an epic and funny story and is much more, than I expected.

It may be good . But to me it looks terrible . I don't know. I really hope that fans of AVGN like it, it's not like i'm hating on it . Just not my cup of tea , looks cheasy as fuck to me . But i don't hope he goes bankrupt of whatever because of it.

I just realized, The Nerd went Uncharted on us. He took a story with a treasure of sorts, and greatly expanded on it and turned it into this whole quest...Kick. Ass.

I get that you're mostly joking, but the fact is that the Nerd is a character created by James Rolfe. Angry Joe is just Joe being himself. That's not a bad thing, don't get me wrong, I love Joe too, but James is also a film maker. Angry Joe is just a game reviewer, the Nerd is making small films. They are game reviews, but in a lot of cases he's just trying to be funny. For example, Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest, this was his first review ever, in his video he says he absolutely hates the game, but in reality, he has confessed to kind of liking it.

But what it generally comes down to is, Joe is a reviewer, James is a film maker.

Have to agree, but since the movie seems done hopefully we will get a video within 2 months at least instead of every 6 months like it has been lately

It looks dumb and I've lost a lot of respect for James Rolfe and Mike Matei for how they conducted themselves this past year. Mike Matei is a giant asshole and James Rolfe is not much better for ignoring all the shit Mike does. (He sent a group of fans to go attack some French reviewer for "copying Jame's Act")

Seriously, $300,000 dollars and THIS is what he pulls off? Yeah, could say I'm overreacting but I expected better from James over the past year.
