you may have noticed that there are alot of adverts for animal charities like the RSPCA, Dogs Trust and various others on television at the moment, there are more ads for animal charities than human charities like oxfam and the NSPCC. this is because animal charities recieve alot more donations and can afford to advertise more and thus recieve yet more donations.

there are many old women out there who would much sooner leave all there money to the cats home than they would to the NSPCC.

there are many people out there (me included) who believe it is fundamentally wrong that nowadays charaties like the RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) are taking priority over the resultingly poorer charities like the NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children)

So what are your thoughts?

Humans are more important than animals and I do worry about anyone who thinks diffrently but the reason why animal welfare groups get more money is because people find animals cuter than humans and therefore donate. Some will have the excuse "Humans can look after themselves" and I find that a really poor excuse. How can a child look after themself when the person who is suppose to raised them in a healthy environment is beating them? how can a crippled soilder support himself? etc etc.

Hence why my money goes towards charites worth while. (shame there isn;t many of them).

there both equally importent, as animals deserve to live just as much as human's, but the animals are just to damn cute for old ladies(90% of donaters to chraity.) to ignore.
