Although chimps are the most biologically similar compared to humans, they act nowhere like us. Compared to us, they?re rather cordial creatures. In my experience, I would say rats or mongooses are probably most like us. Rats in the sense that we are practically everywhere and anywhere and refuse to die out and mongooses in the sense that we are a destructive invasive species that can be both compassionate and cruel to each other. So what do you think? Or did I make a bad analogy?

Turns out... chimps are more evolved than us. They are the furthest from our common ancestor than we are. So, yeah. They're superior, and all because they can pick up bananas with their feet. Or it's because they'll gouge out your eyes, rip out your testicles and pull out your arms from their sockets if they find you to be a threat. Whichever.

Dogs and cats are lot like people. Dogs and humanity share a pack mentality. And we're... no wait, cats are our masters, we're nowhere near the same.

I must say that, for one is sleeping by my feet... surely it will kill me when the time is right. I must lock my door for I have said already too much for them to find.

Actually, i would think mongooses are pretty good comparisons for the expansionist whites. Kill all natives, and then take all the natural resources.

All races and species will consume all resources and overwhelm ecosystems after overcoming natural boundaries. Also you're a racist jackass.

To answer the title question, Jellyfish.

Those mofo mongooses will fuck your shit up if you mess with them. And they're pretty efficient at putting themselves on top of the foodchain. They also eat anything and everything. And they fuck everyday.

Just. No. Everything you said was wrong. Well, everything that wasn't in AliceBlue font.

OT: I'm gunna go with dogs on this one. Pack animals, with a general benevolent view, definitely a hierarchy present in both species. And occasional mean streaks.

I've decided I want to be reincarnated as a mongoose.

Well, yes... the cat thing is true. So is the Chimpanzee thing, they will aim at what is most painful. They'll attack like that, they're aggressors. Which makes them more like humans, sort of.

And yes they are more evolved than us, technically speaking. I'm not saying they're more advanced, but they did evolve more than us from our common ancestor.

Wait? How are chimps more evolved than us? Just wanting to know. Oh, and to correct my statement about mongooses: They have one enemy where i live in Hawaii: Cars.

They're not more advanced than us, but technically speaking they are more evolved. Also, I can live with my main enemy being cars. Aren't they already our enemies now? Or is it the driver?

Cars don't kill people! The elderly driving them do!

Reproductive success is the only logical "yardstick" by which you can judge superiority. In that we dominate all life.
An average of 6 billion insects per square mile, distributed over 1.5 million species, says otherwise.

OT: Raccoons, man. I watch them in my backyard with their little grasping hands and their single-minded determination to safecrack my trash cans, and I'm convinced they missed being the dominant species on Earth by a few million years.

Meh, well, ok if you're measure with that as a metaphorical yardstick. But they're not "superior" which is the word i had the most problem with. Reproductive success is the only logical "yardstick" by which you can judge superiority. In that we dominate all life.

And i too have a kitteh sleeping on my floor. She demands petting. So i must go now.
Ah, yeah I can see where you misunderstood. And apparently they were more plentiful than us and that's why they are currently more evolved than us. We'll beat them even at that, soon enough. Providing we never dress them up as pets and make them servants. [small]Yes that's a reference...[/small]

[small]My kitty is sleeping by my feet... I fear to move for if I do I'll lose them forever.[/small]

OT: I still say dogs are more like us with their pack mentality. But reading more up on chimpanzees, they're more like us than even the dogs.

Do you know of any one species of insect that thrives on every single continent and island in the world. In the last 100,000 years, our species has gone from a couple continents to every single area in the world. We've survived and established colonies everywhere. Even in space.

I'd call that success.

Cordial? You do know that word means "warm and friendly," right? Chimpanzees are even bigger assholes than we are.

On topic...hard to say. I'd probably go with wolves, at least initially. Both share a tendency to hang out in tight-knit family groups, incredible endurance, and the act caring for sick and elderly.

These days...nothing, really. Anything I'd say would be interpreted as social commentary.
