Let me make this clear. i used the search and i couldn't find anything on what i PLAN to do (although i only went back a couple pages).
First of all i have a question, what is up with all the recent anime mumbo jumbo on the escapist?

and now to attempt to continue the anime tread

Ok, so I'm watching BERSERK anime/reading it, and i started thinking, which anime character, if i could, (and i don't know why i was thinking this...) take his form. What i mean is, if i could have the ability to become the anime character in real life, but you would have to go through everything that gave them a physical scar (in a short span of like 10 seconds)

I personally would of chosen the main character of BERSERK, Guts, even though i would lose an eye and an arm. But thinking about it, (and if you played FF7) Guts during his Black Swordsman phase, is like Cloud Barret and Yuffie combined into one!

Raenef from Demon Diary, I would sit around all day have comical screw ups and being sexy outweighs the constant peril or Eclipse from the same series to be badass and sexy.

Also maybe Captian Hitsugaya from Bleach because I want his Zanpacto and hanging out with the lovly Rangiku is a plus, despite the teasing and lack of respect he sometimes gets

Guts really is awesome but if you think about what his life is really like, I doubt you'd want to be him.

He's brash, obnoxiously arrogant, and totally capable of kicking almost anyone's ass towards the end of the anime (I haven't read the manga, but I've heard he's even more badass there). In fact, he's a lot like Naruto, just not as abso-frickin'-lutely retarded. Plus, Tsubaki is the only weapon to have different forms that I've seen. So that's an added bonus.

My runner up would have to be Justin from Soul Eater, the ability to change any part of your body into a weapon is kick-ass.

Seriously, the Berserk universe is one of the darkest I've encountered. Not to mention Guts' personal predicament being more depressing than even the supporting characters'.

hmm, I would say ichigo but the kind of fights he's in are too tense and scare the ever-loving shit out of me for some reason.

if the other characters of the anime would be there to Soul from soul eater, if they're not death the kid. Sure, no Liz and Patty, but he's more than sufficient by himself.

Sasuke from naruto, no doubt. in shipudden, hes badass. beating up his brother/nemesis (even tho he was deathly ill), capturing the 8-tails (even tho he was impaled with 7 swords 1 time, and also 8-tails punched a hole the size of a watermelon in his chest). tho he hasnt been seen in 30 chapters now, whered he go :´(.

if not him, id say Pain. hes sitting at the top of his villages highest tower, channeling chakra into 6 bodies, each of them having the power that rivals that of a Sannin. later its discovered tho that his childhood friend yahiko´s body, which is his favorite puppet, has the power to blast konohagakure to bits, and craft a lesser moon with his "chibaku tensei", or its more badass translated name, "Celestial Terra Blaster" that can trap the 8-tailed naruto. he claims his father, the original ninja, the sage of the six paths, created the moon with that technique.

It's basically the greatest anime I've ever seen. And I've watched anime since Dragonball was introduced to American shores.

Well there is a trend in the new anime that all the cool characters look gay.
Aizen and kuchiki from bleach
all prince of tennis characters
most of pilots in gundam 00
Light from Death Note
and so on and so on so choosing any of them would be gay
Thats why i will keep to some classic anime. well there are many nice characters like:

Brandon Heat/Beyond the Grave (gungrave) - he is one bad ass gunslinger a pity he had an expiry date after they revived him however the coffin machine-gun rules

Baki (Grappler Baki) - For a goddamn 13 year old Baki looks like he ate steroids from the beging of his life prefer the younger version from the first series as he had more of inner fire in him.

But the winner would be Archer from Fate/Stay Night - He looks cool has cool clothes, makes up his weapons in his mind and has some kick ass skills in battle

Despite how awesome Guts is, I would not what to go through half of the shit that has happened to him. I'm amazed the man still has most of his sanity intact.
