That means you'd have to go through Gutt's experience of being raped by a big burly black man. I'll pass.
i said physical scar, i think getting raped would be a more emotional scar

Despite how awesome Guts is, I would not what to go through half of the shit that has happened to him. I'm amazed the man still has most of his sanity intact.

My choice would be Eikichi Onizuka from GTO. Best ex-biker gang member from a fifth rate college turned teacher ever.
see what i just said, and i forgot about onizuka...

Berserk is disgusiting; Gintoki. I'm a loafing good-for-nothing jackass who lives poor. Oh, I almost forgot; I'm a former samurai who spends his time kicking ass and chewing bubblegum.

I love it and I don't understand it. Don't believe anything you hear anyone say on this subject; whether they like it or not, its just the art. It could be a regular book, and you'd look at it differently.

I must also mention the majestic wonder that is Bo-bobo. Being that guy is like getting a pineapple shoved up your nose whilst balancing on a rubber ball on top of the empire state building; and it feels GOOD.

Let me make this clear. i used the search and i couldn't find anything on what i PLAN to do (although i only went back a couple pages).
First of all i have a question, what is up with all the recent anime mumbo jumbo on the escapist?

and now to attempt to continue the anime tread

Ok, so I'm watching BERSERK anime/reading it, and i started thinking, which anime character, if i could, (and i don't know why i was thinking this...) take his form. What i mean is, if i could have the ability to become the anime character in real life, but you would have to go through everything that gave them a physical scar (in a short span of like 10 seconds)

I personally would of chosen the main character of BERSERK, Guts, even though i would lose an eye and an arm. But thinking about it, (and if you played FF7) Guts during his Black Swordsman phase, is like Cloud Barret and Yuffie combined into one!
Please tell me you didn't actually believe Guts was inspired by Cloud/Barret and wtf, Yuffie?. No, you seriously deserve to be skinned alived, tossed in the sahara desert, then mailed by airpost to South Africa, and brought via kayaks to the south pole where you will, if you are still alive that is, be beaten by a mob of penguins.

Guts is a much more complex character than these 3 above combined, and he actually has battle and combat experience and skill. A decent medieval swordsman, by FF standards.

I used to, but it confounds me now.

Although I still enjoy DBZ, Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad, and the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. I simply don't have the patience to wade through the mountains of crap to find good stuff.

Ciel Phantomhive from Kuroshitsuji, a 12 year old earl with an eye for business, forensics investigating via the approval of Queen Victoria, the occult with a Demon butler and a questionable staff working in his mansion.

Mmm...I'd have to go with Monkey D. Luffy. Not because he can strech like rubber, not because he's damn-near impossible to physichally harm, but because his physichal presence is so intimidating, he can make people pass out. That's right; if he looks at a guy hard enough, that guy will fall to the ground, unconsious. No, really; tell me that isn't the shit.

Apologies Abound.

You're not the only one, I don't understand it either. I think I had a toy that was made in Japan, that's the closest thing I could think that would even be remotely related to anime.

Define understand. I don't understand the craze linked to it and why there's so much bloody filler or why they think it's a good idea to leave anything remotely interesting until the last five minutes, but i can usually decipher what's going on.

Enel from One Piece. Being able to predict what people are going to do, turn into electricity/smite people with lightning at will and move at the speed of light would be awesome.

1. Broadsword then "Zanbatou-like" Dragon Slayer, no where close to Cloud useless multi-blade swords.
2. Crossbow/Canon arm, not a gatling gun
3. Throwing daggers (a reminder of some sort of one of his past crew members of the Hawk Merc company).

Oh well, he is still way better than Cloud/Yuffie/Barret combined.

Nope, I don't inderstand that many anime's at all either, except for the Miyazaki films, and Cowboy Bebop. Those were the only ones that made sense to me. The others, I just couldnt keep track of.

Goku from DBZ:
Ultimate power, saiyan blood and the ability to turn all shinny and destructive.

Sure I'd have to be impaled by Piccolo's Special Beam Cannon, beaten to hell by Freeza and Cell, killed once or twice...

But it'd all be worth it for all that power and the ability to fly REALLY FAST!

does anybody remember the name of the guy from "Read or Die"? it would be great to manipulate paper with a thought.
