Anime Identification: Help Please

Really don't know where else to turn, so I figured I'd ask my fellow Escapists for help. I've been looking at an anime picture for a while and trying to figure out what show it's from, it's really irritating. I was wondering if I could bother you all for a second to help me out.

Don't bother looking at the name of the image link, it won't do you any good, I found it on a photobucket a long time ago. Any help would be appreciated. I'm starting to think it's original art, but a friend said otherwise, unfortunately he doesn't have an answer either. Thanks a bunch in advance.

There is also a fighting game which follows the Tsukihime story called Melty Blood, and a visual novel, check them out if you're interested.

It's a 12 episode anime series, and IMO not long enough. The manga is much better in my eyes.

The anime? Ehhh...(I know NeutralDrow might strike me down for this one but) no. It's worth adding to a back-up list if you have nothing to watch at the time, but I would say the priority to watch this one is low, there are better adaptations and series out there.

But the manga? Absolutely yes.
