Im in need of a new anime perferably not shonen and is under fifty episodes long.

Don't recommend me outlaw star, baccano or fooly-cooly. Because im meaning to get the boxsets of outlaw star and baccano when they come out soon and i hate fooly-cooly.

Couldn't you have just used the search bar? I usually don't care about seeing a repeat thread here n there. But this exact thread must come up every damn day. I'm sure you could search 'Anime suggestion' in the search bar and you'd have a good topic on the first page. Just waiting there. With all it's suggestive goodness.

Also stay clear of 'Soul eater'. The one thing I will actually contribute to this thread.

It starts of interesting. Gets very boring. And end's so mind numbingly horribly I want to kill the animators for wasting my damn time.

And for not liking Fooly Cooly your opinions are invalid... Just sayin.

I think there needs to be a sticky on Anime Recommendations. Which lists a big pile of animes and others similar to them.

Well, perhaps not a sticky, but a huge thread nonetheless.

It'd certainly help prevent threads like these.

When you write Fullmetal Alchemist, I'm assuming you're talking about Brotherhood? If not, check out the adaptation that follows the manga to the letter.

I prefer the series and the tv movie, but the movies themselves are worth watching as well.

 

[Outright Villainy]

Well I can tell you about Gantz, because that's the only one I've seen that you haven't.
I gave up after 9 episodes because it was insanely boring, and i fucking hated every character in it. Apparently it gets better in the manga, but I'm very much put off that show, I didn't enjoy it at all.

Clannad is one of my favorite animes ever! But prepare for man tears.
