Anime Search

Alright, its been bugging me for days, and I now I ask for help.

A few days ago, I watching a Youtube video about anime, and a particular scene came up that I recongized. It was of a dark-skinned elf girl with dark-greenish hair in a white dress dancing on a stage in front of a crowd, and then the camera turns to focus on another woman, who could pass for Misato from NGE in a heartbeat, and then video went on to something else.

I know I've seen that show before, but I can't of the what or when. After several failed Google, Bing, and Youtube searches, I've got nothing. And since the video was removed after the last maintaince (I don't know why - there was nothing inappropriate about the video) I can't simply link to it and tell you what to look for.


I know its not a lot to go on, but any ideas? I'd like to be able figure out what it was, but I'm out of ideas.

Thats to bad, from his description it sounds Familiar.
I just cant place a name.

Sadly this is true, as most recently demonstrated by the recent "I out grew Anime today" thread.

Could you post that video? That might help those who've seen it tell you what it is.

A glace at a lot of anime topics would suggest that he's, unfortunately, right.

Then again, as RavenPenguin said in another thread, the anime haters are probably just very vocal.

4chan isn't that bad. You will have a much higher chance of your question being answered there than here. The way the anons work, they have been able to find people's addresses from pictures of their front lawns. This would be easy for them.

Actually, /a/ on 4chan would probably be more helpful, as it is the /a/nime board. /r/ is typically seen as more for locating links, downloads, and pictures, though they may be able to help find the anime.

I would post in the specialty board, though.

I own Blue Sub #6.


There are no elves in Blue Sub #6. Nor anyone who looks like Misato.

I had hazarded a guess that it might be Record of LW, but I then I remembered there are only about 2 elves shown in that, and neither of them have green hair.....
