Anime Season Fall 2012

As some of you may or may not know, a new anime season is upon us. I'm curious to know what you fellas are going to be picking up for this season.

So what are your thoughts on this season?

I'm looking forward to KyoAni's new anime, Chuunibyou Demo Koi Ga Shitai! Also, Psycho Pass, simply because Gen Urobuchi is involved. K, Magi, and Btooom! looks interesting, and although I haven't played the original visual novels, I guess I'll check out Little Busters! and Robotics;Notes.

As for movies, The Madoka Magica films. Sure, they're recaps, but I don't care. I already rewatched the show a bunch of times, and I wouldn't mind watching it again. That, and of course Evangelion 3.0

Fall looks like it will have some promising titles. This year so far hasn't really blown me away like last year. The best anime I've seen all year so far is Kokoro Connect, which really is fantastic so far.

Still no news on Umineko Chiru? Or anything about more Hellsing Ultimate OVAs, or their English dubs? No? Then I'm not interested.

(Okay, that was harsh. More simply, I have a backlog of older series to get through before I start looking at newer anime. My point on the two mentioned above still stands, though...)

I'm rather curious how Code:Breaker is going to turn out, especially considering that the manga is still ongoing. Also looking forward to the third Mardock Scramble movie.

Looking forward to Seitokai no Ichizon, since I wanted a 2nd season ever since I watched it.

And To Love Ru Darkness, cuz the manga is hilarious

I missed almost all of last season in the anime world, so I have been so utterly in the dark about what's coming out. That list made the season sound really good though.

I'll watch Pyscho Pass because it has the Fate/Zero and Madoka writer.

I'm psyched for Little Busters, because it's been too long since an anime made me cry like a little girl.

I'll try K, because it's an original series (THANK GOD) and sounds vaguely interesting.

Code Breaker is giving me Guilty Crown vibes for some reason, so I'll give it a try even if it probably won't be amazing.

Zetsuen No Tempest looks ok, I might give it a few episodes.

Overall, I'm liking the looks of this season.

I'm going to watch:

Hidamari Sketch- Loyal fan of Shaft because of this series.

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure- I've been wanting this for a long time.

Girls Und Panzer- It has a tank. That's all I need.

Psycho Pass- It has Gen "Song of Saya" Urobochi working on it.

Robotics;Notes- It's in the same universe as Steins;Gate, so it's worth a look.

And that Kyoto Animation show since if nothing else it'll look pretty. Though this one does look different from their usual fare.

The big anime that I'm really looking forward to is Shin Sekai Yori (From the New World) and, if anything, that will be the one I will not want to miss. Btooom! looks interesting and Psycho Pass is starting to sell me on premise alone, but those are still up-in-the-air. Other than that, everything looks uninteresting to me.

Yes! While I'm not familiar/dont care about the rest, I'm really hyped about JOJO the animation. Though I wonder how many changes it will go through seeing as Horohiki Araki pretty much sees the first two parts as old shame.

Girls und Panzer sounds like it will be hilarious so I plan on watching that and I also need to watch Hidamari Sketch as well.

Little Busters will be another Key and I have really high hopes for Girls und Panzer it sounds really awesome.

for some reason I just dont like the TV show format..i think its because thease days I dont like do "passive" activities like sitting there and watching...at least with movies its only an acoupel of hours

EDIT: I hear they are making a berserk movie/movies..I know its a popular manga and the series never got a good end...

Damn, there was one scheduled for release this year that doesn't seem to be listed. Guess I will have to make do with the manga.
Though, now I see a couple other anime I will be looking into whenever they start to air. Thanks for the link!

That's funny, you're at the exact opposite end to where I am at. I used to play all types of games all of the time, but now I'm mostly just watching shows and movies, with some Grand Strategy and forum lurking/posting to tie me over.

Nothing, It's all crap until it ends.

There's like one great anime and one good anime per season and the rest is crap.

An understandably pessimistic view to take, but I'm curious, was there anything from this year that you enjoyed?

I also feel that it may have somthing to do with the internet.....its like rapid fire entertainment..so I get restless if I have to sit down and watch somthing

that said it depends on what I'm watching...

Well all I'm looking forward to is Little Busters and maybe more. Key will life my spirits more as I watch this.

Not that you'll be seeing it online for another 6 months after the movie comes out in Japan. If you want to see it within the Fall Season, there are some places in 'Merica showing the movie (if there are tickets left for them, anyway, I know San Francisco is Sold Out).

Girls und Panzer - Dumb gun (well tank) humor, hopefully better than Upotte
K - Dat animation budget [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fAFecWtau7k]. I have no idea what it's about and I don't care, I just want to watch this grand spectacle play out.
Little Busters - To see the story I couldn't bother myself to read through. Also to watch JC Staff try to adapt something properly and probably fail at it. Like seriously, this is probably going to be the next Tsukihime.[/s]
Magi - Anime + Arabian Nights = A combo you don't see everyday
Onii-chan Dakedo Ai Sae Areba Kankeinai yo ne - The girls look kawaii moe uguu as fuck (minus big tits + eyepatch, who doesn't look like she gives a single fuck which I think is a hilarious contrast)
Psycho-Pass - Gen UroButcher + Hanazawa Kana as lead girl = All my money
Robotics;Notes - I don't expect it to be good but it looks like it'll be a fun ride nonetheless.
Seitokai no Ichizon 2 - Dumb harem hilarity + A studio that isn't Studio Deen = Win
Shinsekai yori - Seeing as it's actually based on an actual novel instead of a light novel, I'm expecting the writing to be competent for once.
Tonari no Kaibutsu-Kun - "But wait, it's another generic Shoujo sho--" WRONG! [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c54vbtaPrnY] ...I hope.
