Yeah, I get that, but I dont get WHY people make the assumption besides that. They htink light the character is openly homosexual, and to me it doesnt make alot of sense as to why.

Oh. I see your point. My best assumption would be that they are looking for anomalies to see what they want to see. I wish I could a better answer, unfortunately I haven't seen enough of the series to give you a better answer (though I'm positive that there is no smoking gun).

the ones i remember to like were noir, onegai teacher, azumanga daioh (always gets me), mnemosyne, kodomo no jikan (actually turned out to be quite good), slayers ) samurai champloo was cool...music is still considered one of the best. read or die...nerima daikon brothers, i guess...oh yeah...sabaku no guardian...very funny, highly ecchi

I won't bother to list them all, since I pretty much just did. But as for my opinion on anime as a whole, well... I'm quite picky about it, there's a few I like. But the same goes for anything else. My all time favourite animu/mango is Berzerk, and my favourite anime movie is AKIRA.
