I bring this up because the Fire Emblem banner that has been up there for a few days now is driving me crazy. It keeps opening up anytime I get near it and I have accidentally clicked on it countless times, opening a new window every time. Now I realize that it is the idiot behind the wheel that is causing this, but it still frustrates me. Why do advertisers on the internet have to make ads that are so invasive?
This is the kind of game that I would normally be interested in, but because of my bitter hatred towards the ads, I will make sure never to buy it. It's not just ads on the internet that I feel this way about either. Television and radio too; if the advertising annoys me, I will go out of my way to buy from a competitor. If it's a product I want, anyway. It's not like I go out and buy products I have no use for just to stick it to the man.
So I am just wondering what your thoughts/feelings are on annoying advertising and if you let it influence your decision to buy a product?
