I've just been playing prototype and i want to know if I am the only person how is absolutley sick to death of being repeatedly thrown into a corner and pummelled by either a pack of hunters, several tanks or even more annoying both!!

Did you try buying roll and air dash? When you have those two powers you have no excuse to get trapped. (Except when the game puts you in a warehouse specifically to trap you.)
I have most of the upgrades, but all that happens is that i get hit once and then can't get up due to said pummelling, plus i'm on that bit against Elizabeth Greene so i can't leave and do other missions
Just keep re-renting the game, it is good for about 20 hours.mentor07825 said:

The dodge roll is your friend, that and dirtnap. If you are at this point in the game, you should be taking out groups of 3 hunters pretty easily. I do still get hit with the Hunter Fist Charge (as I like to call it), but the ol' evade roll and good old fasion jumping make all the difference. Plus while you are in the air you can do the blade downward slice thing, that rapes pretty much everything.GodsAndFishes said:
The only part of [Prototype] that really piss me off are some of the side missions that force you to use a tank or a helicopter, or the main missions that force you to. You have all of these awesome powers and then they put you into a tank to go babysit something just drives me insane.
