Hello fellow escapists... Now we've all played games where the supporting cast can be helpful at times and sometimes downright annoying or even infuriating. My question is, is there a supporting character that stands out in your mind?
Mine is Hendrix from the first Red Faction. This guy "helps" you through the entire game but every time you enter a room he says is "clear" or otherwise tries to reassure you that death isn't just around the corner, the inevitable bad shit goes down. Basically the fucker seems to screw you over more than he helps you. And near the end of the game you finally come face-to-face with the asshole and if you kill him the game ends then and there (and not a good ending either). I did take guilty pleasure in popping a cap in his head a few times before continuing on though.
So again, anyone have a support character that you hated enough to want to kill or maybe just annoyed you enough to want to beat mercilessly?
