This is the thread where you post the most annoying thing your roommate has ever done. I decided to make this thread after my experience this morning:
I woke up to my alarm and immediately headed to the bathroom to shower and get ready as I always do in the morning. I have the earlier classes than my roommate so I'm always up about an hour before him. As soon as I entered the bathroom, I stepped in a cold puddle. There was toilet water everywhere! My roommate had plugged the toilet and then overflowed it but didn't bother to clean it up!!!!!! So I found my self standing in a puddle of pissy, shit water. Pretty much the grossed experience of my life. I went outside and through up then I came back in and pounded on his door while yelling at him to literally clean up his shit.

Not the best morning of my life....

My housemate once put a full pot of gravy granules into the toilet system, was funny at first but a pain in the arse for days after. Kept on blocking up the pipes and the bog smelt of beef for weeks.

I live in two bedroom flat with one roomate and he isn't really that annoying at least not to the extent of the op's post.

He can be really awkward sometimes, like standing really close to me when I'm putting food in the oven or getting something out of the cupboard shelves, makes me feel very uncomfortable. Although what does annoy me about him, is finding pieces of vegetables stuck in the sink seriously clean that stuff out.

Other than that, he's a pretty cool guy.

[sup]He's terrible at games though >.>[/sup]

The only annoying thing my roommate does is listen to his music without headphones. For the most part I don't mind since my headphones are pretty good at blocking out background noise but every so often he has it loud enough where I can hear it no matter what. Luckily he listens to several bands I like such as Muse, Queen, and Franz Ferdinand but most of the time he listens to horrible rap music and dubstep. What makes it really bad though is he has these giant speakers which are capable of making the building collapse. So yeah, it could be worse I guess.

This one time, I was getting laid and he decided to bang at the door until i had to stop and get up without finishing, and it ended with me getting punched in the face by some rando and then she left. Worst day ever.

My last housemate stole my tv, computer, microwave, dvd player and games, then sold them all for meth.

I live alone now.

First Roommate Ever:
Masturbate in our one room college dorm room. Hop out of bed and finish in his hamper in the closet.

When I called him on it, he said it was his "personal time" and if I woke up while he was doing it, I should just be quiet. Then next time I took a shower, he left and locked me out of our room, leaving me to go find an RA while only wearing a towel.

Fourth Roommate:
Owned a disturbingly huge collection of swords and of videos (an entire shelf full) featuring lactating women squirting on nude men. All of which was publicly displayed in our one room barracks unless there was an inspection that week.

Lived with him for 6 months, exchanged maybe a dozen words.

I'm still not sure which was the worst.

Wow, compared to other people, I've had it easy as far as roommates go. The worst complaint I've had with my otherwise awesome roommate was that he would do laundry and then leave his clothes in the washer or dryer for weeks on end, so it was never free for me to use. I finally just moved his wet clothes out when I needed to do laundry. Such a minor complaint...

My college roommate stole all of my money. Not just cash, but every last dollar I had in the bank. When I was taking a shower, he went into my wallet and copied the numbers off of my credit card. He then cleaned out my entire bank account and spent it all online. Most of it was spent on porn, but he also bought some guns and knives, and a samurai sword, all of which he was hiding in our room without my knowledge. (We're not supposed to have weapons on campus, btw.)

I found out my money had been stolen when I tried to buy something and there was nothing in my bank account. I had no evidence that it was my roommate who had done it, and he didn't seem like the type. I called the bank and declared fraud, so they gave me the money back and sent me a new card. Then he did it again. And then a third time.

By this point, I got my bank statement, and saw where all of the fraudulent charges went. I started calling up the stores, asking who made the purchases. Turns out, the idiot used his own name. I went to the school security center, and told them what was going on. They searched the room, and found all the weapons. He got expelled from school, and I got my money back.

I am never, ever going to have a roommate again.

Okay, I never had anything that bad.

My roommate last year, however, never washed his sheets, clothes, bath towels, etc. It smelled like a locker room in our dorm room. On top of all that he was a grade A a****le.

My roommate my freshman year was terrible. This was in the freshman dorms so we just shared a room the size of a large closet. He never showered. Not a single time the entire year. He froze if the room was below 90 degrees Fahrenheit and blasted the heat year round. He watched TV literally 24/7. He never turned it off. And it was terrible stuff too- like sitcoms from the late 80's early 90's or talk shows. He only ate hamburgers, fries, and pizza and would always get the food to go and eat it in the room. The room always smelled like grease and BO. Oh and he snored louder than a freight train. Looking back on it now, I really don't know how I didn't kill him. I ended up spending as many nights with my gf just so I didn't have to go back to that room.

they NEVER clean anything. If they do, they can't do it worth a bean. They try to clean the dishes on a blue moon, but I always have to redo them.

one roommate decides to "clean" the TV lounge area throwing all my games, controllers, consoles, and cables into a shoe box and what ever didn't fit in the pile overflowing the small box, he threw against the wall. For no reason he did this and he didn't even vacuum the area and its not like it was in a walkway. What did any of that accomplish other than possibly jammed buttons and tangled cables.

Same roommate with the video game stuff threw out half a bottle of my vodka because he thought since no one was drinking it [after the party], it was taking up too much space in the fridge; he also thought it was going to expire -.-. The real solution to solve the problem was to remove the dam food he never eats, like pizza in those huge boxes in the fridge.

there are more annoying and rather disgusting things that I could post, but these are just the ones probably most of you can relate to.

I hate roommates and I thank my mom for teaching me all I need to know about taking care of myself and being part of a big family to know where my boundaries are. I really fear for these roommates who will hopefully be off and on their own because they clearly can't take care of themselves without their mothers around.

I'm mostly the moderator between my two roommates at Uni this year. One complains that the other steals food and leaves her trash all over the common room, while the other complains that the other doesn't clean up after herself. Nonetheless, I'm always the one that cleans up after both of them. My fourth roommate is never there, so she's not much of a bother.

I personally hate how with one of them I constantly have to tip-toe around touchy subjects or talk about what she wants to, lest she change the subject or talk about how unfortunate she is since she is on medication for anxiety, and how life is so bad. My other roommate is fine, but she doesn't clean up her dishes and they tend to lay about in the sink or on the stove until someone else cleans them, or they become a health hazard. And when she has friends over, stereotypes come with them. (Yes they talk very loudly until all hours of the night.) If anything it's just noise control that my roommates seem to have a problem with. -_-

Hrmm well I have not current problem with my current roommate. He's a pretty cool dude and where pretty good friends by now. They're is the occasional argument between us, but that just do to him being a stick in the mud all the time :p.

Now my first roommate that I ever had annoyed the sh*t out of me almost every day. The guy was a vain, self-centered lady's man and man's man. All ways bringing some new random guy or girl back to the the dorm to have sex. All. The. Time. The guy was an addict. But that was not the worst, neither was the rubbing in my face or making me feel awful and pathetic for not being able "to score" 24 7 like he was able,( and generally killing any and all of my self-esteem) not these where not the worse. The worse was when he liked to show off his "score's" to my face. Like not let's not make a sound until he open's the door and then have sex right then and their in front of him ahahahah.

Also he is Bi and I'm straight.........

In retrospect I hated more then he annoyed me, so eh.

One of my suitemates is a Toronto fan, while I appreciate Boston and Ottawa more. I enjoy rubbing it in his face when Toronto gets wiped.

OP. For some reason, I am the only person in my apartment setup who knows how a shower curtain works. The rest of them manage to get more water on the goddamn floor than they do in the fucking tub.

Yeah, I did the same thing.

My second room mate was much cooler though. he was a sharks/pens fan, so we'd stay up all night watching either the pens in the playoffs or the sharks, or would listen to teh games online. and of course we made fun of Crapitals. XD
