I got it! Pandemic (lol didn't even notice the others til i scrolled back up) I hate madagascar lol.

But as for country... I don't know, most counties would do fairly poorly, with most people being in cities.

The more remote/cold, the higher chance of survival. Like moving to siberia. A) nobody's there (at least not a lot of people) and B) it's really cold.

Australia. We can escape into deserts, hot humid rain forests and if worse comes to worse we can evacuate to Antarctica (which we are pretty close to and control the largest slice of).

Right. I think that the best area to be at would be, as the first poster stated, some place with loose gun control. Other countries with bans on guns would be left vulnerable, and countries with dictatorships would have people covering up their illnesses, as they would probably get killed on the spot if caught infected. U.S. is looking pretty good, especially the coastal towns, since fish would allow a form of food to be harvested for those walled up, and rivers and oceans could be purified for drinking water. Also, they would only need to worry about infected on one side, as opposed to a completely surrounding horde.

I'd head to a remote region in northern Canada with a few friends and a shit-ton of supplies and hope that the zombies don't infect the deer population (or that you can become a zombie by eating an infected deer, that would suck).

I would go with the USA. We have the largest standing army, the best equipped army, and the most guns per capita in the civilian populace. So as long as it isn't the zombies from STALKER we're set (those ones shoot back...).

I think quite the opposite - according to The Zombie Survival Guide, areas where technology is scarce and people are not into that stuff is the area most likely to host a successful infection. What I say is former Soviet Union countries. Because I live in one (Bulgaria) and here there is a lot of crude, but durable and lockable buildings. They are tall, the front door is lockable, jamming the elevator easy, and blocking the stair just a matter of 2 wardrobes.

Ahh one person has already said Switzerland. It has very high gun ownership. Also it has huge Trench and Tunnel systems from back in WW2. As if that were not enough it also has loads of forts dotted about the place!

Umm, sorry to disappoint you, but polar bears are only found in the Northern Hemisphere. None in Antarctica, man.
