Hey guys, there have been a few things that keep happening on this forum and I don't know what to do to resolve these possible issues, so here I am.

I, from time to time, am unable to connect at all to this site, even when the site is still up (Because I can enter the site using a proxy. I never use proxy's in general or when I log into my account, though). I today looked up my profile without logging in and to my surprise, I saw that I was online, even though I didn't log in.

Could I have been hacked or anything? What could be the cause of me randomly getting blocked from the site and my account being online even when I'm not?

Probably not. Website "online" indicators are notoriously unreliable. It is more likely the forum hamsters or trouble along the route between you and escapistmagazine.com.

You mean logged in?

The cookie that keeps you logged in is saved to your IP and computer. If you change the IP by using a proxy, you'll stay logged in at the original one unless you log in from the new IP.

Also, the servers are pretty slow and unreliable here. Most of the time I have to wait about 15 seconds to load a page when others start to open instantly.
