Hello Escapists, this is my first thread on this site! And before I go further, this will contain minor spoilers for Mass Effect 3.
I don't have anything deep or meaningful I want to say about Mass Effect (either the third game or the series as a whole) that hasn't already been said. What I'm making this thread about is a bit of a dilemma I'm having.
Now, in my main run of Mass Effect I romanced Liara, and stayed faithful to her. However in the third game, in the very vain hope femShep could finally romance Tali, I told her "let's just be friends." Of course, after realizing my Shep and Tali were never meant to be, and seeing all the really sweet, emotional moments with Liara, I came to regret this decision.
HOWEVER! I think the Garrus romance is the most adorable of all of them, and now I'm torn. When I walked in on Garrus and Tali I was dumbfounded but thought "that's perfect." They really do go well together--almost as well as Shep and either one of them (and I really wish we could make it a threesome--this is the future! Why no love for polyamorous relationships?). Joking aside, I'm torn. I like Liara but Garrus is one of my absolute favorite characters. I don't know who to romance.
So, fellow fans, which romance do you think is better? More rewarding? And if your answer is neither, which is the romance you like best? Are there any romances you wanted to see in the game but weren't able to?
