and i'm an attention whore

Confusion

You closed me away from your heart,
Pushed me away from your feelings,
You wouldn't let me understand.

You built a wall round your soul,
Forced out my questions,
You wouldn't let me speak at all,

Theres nothing more that I want,
Nothing more that I need,
Just please, let me in again.

You blocked the way to your life,
Ignored my anxiety,
You wouldn't let me understand.

Never dissagreed,

Its mopy and doesn't really say much, more people should write about original themes. Also it reads like a song with that "chorus" in it.

Why is it that most people's conception of "poetry" is the self-pitying dribble that emo's write about heartbreak and cutting themselves? Real poetry can weave a beautiful tapestry in your mind, but be inspired by something as insignificant as a leaf blowing in the wind.
