it seems pretty average, your average platformer, based heavily, heavily, heavily on the matrix.
Explain while you still have your kneecaps. And god help you if your only argument is "she runs on walls"
of bloody course my argument is 'she runs on the walls' what the hell else does that game consist of (except jumping from rooftop to rooftop [MATRIX] or flashy karate-infused disarming/knocking guards out with their own shotguns [a-MATRIX] or a seemingly ideal but corrupt future [MATRIX - from the machine's p.o.v) Stylish female character who doesn't have massive, massive,
massive tits [MATRIX - trininty]
I could go on but it's late on this side of the planet.
I'm going to have to politely disagree. With the especially cartoony story boards, this whole game strikes me as the awkward child of Jet Set Radio games (Jet Grind Radio and Jet Set Radio Future), with a weaker emphasis on tagging, and a stronger emphasis on parkour, which is something that was established before
The Matrix ever hit screens. Outside of that, there is a bit of disarming and gun-play, but it's mostly running from the police, instead of The Matrix where you fought everything except the Agents (whom you fought by the middle of the first movie).
The game has a
much stronger emphasis on movement and agility, and much less on combat. So, by that mark, it's pretty different. That, and I have a hard time imagining a
Matrix that is bright, white, and colorful instead of dank, rainy, and kinda emo.
