So I just finished The Legend of Heroes Trails in the Sky. Really enjoyed it. 45 hours was a very lengthy adventure for a PSP game. Can't wait for the next part of the trilogy.

But, anywho now I'm trying to decide what RPG I should delve into next. These are my top choices:

Ys the Oath in Felghana
Radiata Stories
Dragon Quest VI Realms of Revelation
Disgaea 3
Jeanne D'Arc
Tactics Ogre Let us Cling Together
Knights in the Nightmare
Final Fantasy IV the Complete Collection (played the original quite a few years back)
Valkyria Chronicles 2
Suikoden Tierkreis
Alundra
Sakura Wars
Record of Agarest War
Odin Sphere
SMT Strange Journey
Koudelka
Tales of Destiny 2 (aka Eternia)

Thanks for your input.

Play Knights in the Nightmare, one of the best DS RPG's in my opinion. I do realize that this thread is about PSP games, but the difference between the versions is minimal.

Thanks for the suggestion. I actually had this originally on DS but found the stylus control to be a little awkward for a lefty. I might pop that one in looks very unique and interesting. I recall watching videos of it and having no clue what was going on. How steep is the learning curve?

Stay away from tierkreis unless you like having clunky as hell party managment that loves to reset itself to only 1 character every 5 seconds and strongly limits your choice of characters to the point where it's not really a choice at all and cliche "chosen ones" fantasy plots.

Try strange journey.
Thanks, I was on the fence about Tierkreis. I'm a huge Suikoden fan and loved 1,2,3,and 5. Yet, I've heard more negative things about Tierkries, 4 and Tactics

What? Your party only gets changed by the game if the character has left for some reason due to plot reasons, or occasionally when you've finished the current chapter/main objective, and you've gone back to your base. I honestly never had a problem with it.

Plus the the chosen one plot can be an arguement against any suikoden game. People would have complained if it didn't have the chosen one plot, considering it's a key part of the series. Hell, people complained that they changed the names of stuff in Tierkreis.

I'd still give it a chance anyway, I'm sure I mentioned before that I actually really enjoyed it, despite the hate.

I found that by the 13ish chapter I was able to wipe out the entire field and get all the items on it by the turn limit. Once you get the hang of it, its really fun and fast paced.

One thing to keep in mind, try to get all the key items in each level. If you don't you might find yourself with no good characters. Or worse, good characters who you can't level because they hit their level cap. The level cap is higher in late game and low in early game. Also each time you attack with a character they use up their Vitality, use one too much and it will disappear. Even if you get characters you won't use, they are still needed. That's because you can use them to recover your good characters Vitality.

TL;DR Keep updating your character roster, or you will not get very far.

Btw I am a lefty, and I play the game fine with the stylus. I actually can't imagine playing it without the stylus.

Yea, I played like an hour or so to get a feel for it and I liked what I played. I've heard mixed things about it so I should probably just play through it and hopefully I'll enjoy it.
