A workmate of mine (who happened to be a devout bible-basher) was recommended Diablo when it came out. He bought it to give it a try, then the next day told us he'd thrown it in the bin because of the demonic/satanic/whatever content. After asking him "erm... why not sell it or something?", his reply was "I didn't want to corrupt anyone else" or something along those lines.
Cursed Diablo, teaching our kids that defeating evil in the world is the greatest a person can achieve. *shakes fist*

I bet the Pope still plays Pokémon red with his gameboy's gameboy.
I see what you did thar.

...could make an exiting exhibit at Legoland
Ouch, can you imagine the pain of being violated by said creature?

i play spore. And if evolution, IE eating things for DNA and then sticking on random bits to make them bitey, and go from cell to universal ruler in 5 hours, is LEARNING REAL EVOLUTION, my ass can create black holes at will and then fire them via an anti matter cannon. Evolution is a random useful mutation, Spore is adding a biological buzzsaw and purple goop spitting death...do you see any creatures like that?
You can do that ? God I'm so envious... my nanites don't even allow me to have IR vision and vomit copious amounts of lazorz :(

I can't stop laughing at that (the Giver seems so happy with himself), you can only wonder why he's obsessing with sex is it's so horrible, I thought people afraid of coitus didn't even mention it...

Anyway... I am not so sure if we have a trolling troll here, or if he's for real, but apart from the blacklisted images, it lightens my day at work...

Hmmm... giant lego penis rape... might create a new precedent in court...

Oh, have you noticed Objective Ministries return a 503 ?
Who called a raid without telling me ? :(

Oh that site made me laugh. I'm printing off that 'What to do if you meet an Atheist' thing and making it into a poster. Oh chuckles, chuckles.

Which one ? the one with the grumpy goat ?

This is one of the lulziest ones along with Habu the Hindi Elephant and Dr. Giraffenstein, the Creation Scientist.

This isn't a new Vatican thing, is it? The game isn't forcing evolution onto you, it's just presenting a pretty good model of evolution, assuming it really happened.
And it isn't Maxis or EA's fault that people choose to make somewhat child unfriendly creatures in Creature Creator. Maxis didn't tell them to make penis monsters. No.
Some people really need to bring themselves back into reality and stop making other people (such as my friend) fall off their chairs out of sheer laughter.

Arkfeller, you do know protestants do not claim allegiance to the Vatican, and in fact probably despise the Pope, right ?

I haven't heard much Catholics scream against the game, and creationnism is absolutaly out of the way here, so I'm always amused of the insanity that sparks here and there in the US of A.

There used to be a saying in my country.."Better Turkish than for the Pope"
I think that says enough. But I digress.

GET OVER IT YOU WHINY LITTLE TWATS. THE ONLY GOOD THING CHRISTIANITY BROUGHT US WAS ABSOLVEMENT FROM OUR SINS...AND SOMEONE HAD TO DIE FOR THAT!
...here I go, getting all involved here. Stupid me. It's all just a faerie tale.

Hm. Seems the most recent entry to that site suggests this may be a piss-take.

Spore users are 38% of God?

He may be onto something there.

In regards to schisms of the religious variety - isn't anyone getting the message that although your creature 'evolves', you are still the ever-present guiding moral force for your race?

It doesn't deny the existence of God - in fact, it seems to suggest it more than flat-out Darwinism.

The newest post (Sept. 11, 2008) is almost direct proof that this isn't serious. Either that, or someone rickrolled the Bible.
From this we learn that Christians are capable of humour and not all of us are Bible-bashing psychopaths.

I just got GodRoll'd. That's awesome. I'd make the Andy Kaufman comparison that many have been making, but Andy would never let us in on the joke.
