Any beer snob escapists? If so, any favorites?

I'm currently living in "Brew City" (Milwaukee, WI). You can't be a beer snob until you've visited this town. We have tons and tons of microbrews. I'm a huge fan of Lakefront Cream City. Don't know if you can get it anywhere but Wisconsin

I've started drinking Corona, and am enjoying it quite a lot.
Given that I've been poor for my last 3 years of college, I've been drinking whatever is usually cheapest, and am just getting into the "finer beers".
I regularly drunk real beers untill this year when I started being a student again. Now I have to settle for vodka and el-chepo cider most of the time, It sucks.

Favourite that I can commonly get hold of: Wychwood Hobgoblin.
Other favourites all come from microbreweries/speciality shops back home, Hampshire Bowman Wallop's Wood is easily the best (as my Avatar might give away), but the rest of the Bowman ales are brilliant. Another really good one is Harvey's Armada Ales, from Lewes, East Sussex.
Beer makes me love being English.
I'm a fan of a lot of the Wychwood beers myself, especially hobgoblin. Truth is my favourite tends to depend what I'm in the mood for really, although a general fave would be McEwans Champion.

Also although I'm not really a fan of their beers I love what Brewdog is doing in regards to taking the piss left right and centre.
Brewdog have made the only that I've found completely disgusting, called Paradox, it tasted like bad red wine had been added to the beer.

I've not tried that one, I can't quite get the measure of Brewdog though, a lot of their beers just taste... odd.

After living in Slovakia for a year, my beer taste has become quite accustomed to quality. My favorites are Zlaty Bazant, Smadny Mnich, Saris, Kelt, Gambrinus, and of course Pilsner Urquell. Gotta love the best.

On a sidenote for all you Americans, the Budweiser here is wayyyyy better. Like, it actually tastes like beer.

Kona, Pipeline Porter, it is made with Kona coffee. Porters are my favorite beer and the one from Kona is so far beyond any others I've had. The second up would be the Black Butte Porter from Deschutes Brewery. I love coffee and beer, porters are the combination of those two things.

Kinda- I like Purple Haze,a yummy raspberry wheat ale, and anything by Dogfish is usually excellent. I also like Momma's Little Yellow Pill which is one of the few canned micro brews.

Edit-I'm more of a wine snob that anything, but I do not drink crappy beer of any kind but beer is always my last choice .

1)liquor
2)wine
3)smartwater
4)beer

I do rather like the lighter Thornbridge and Abbeydale ales (of Yorkshire), as well as Harwich Station (very local) and Nethergate (slightly less local, but still resoundingly Essex.)

Besides that, I'm very happy to go for a Budvar Dark or a Deuchars IPA any time.
