Any good games for the gamecube?

Are you kidding? Any good games for the gamecube? They are ALL good games for the gamecube. As you yourself stated, the thing is a work of art and one of my favourite systems ever. The thing is finding some of these games.

If you can, the Zelda master quest collection is definitely worth your time.

Uhhh. . . the Gamecube was an okay system, but kinda sucked by Nintendo's standards--it suffered from a lack of third-party support like the N64; a problem aggravated by the fact it didn't have any exclusives as good as GoldenEye, Ocarina of Time, or Super Mario 64 (and no, Metroid Prime was not as good as these).

But in any case--the PS2 had a lot of good games, and the Xbox suffered from a lack of Japanese titles but nonetheless had strong support from PC developers to help pick up the slack. Just look at the RPGs on Xbox--not a genre the console is renowned for: Knights of the Old Republic, Jade Empire, Morrowind, and Shenmue II. Does the GC even have four games this good? Like, Sega's (excellent) Dreamcast leftovers on the Xbox--Jet Set Radio Future, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Gunvalkyrie, Shenmue II--are probably as good as the best Nintendo-developed GC titles.

Not much love for Metroid Prime here... but it's probably my favourite Gamecube game, personally. Easily worth a look, if not a buy.

Get the Game Boy Player, if you can find one. The thing will let you play anything from the GBA down on your GameCube, and there are a ton of games that are good enough to warrant playing at home.

Phantasy Star Online is one I've always enjoyed. It lacks any of the online support these days since the servers went down a few years back, but you can still hook up some local split screen action with your friends for a really fun time.

Resident Evil Zero and Resident Evil (remake) are amazing. You can also get the other Resident Evil games.

Resident evil zero and the remake are 'must plays' though. They are pre RE5 that should be enough of a review for anyone to play them.

Double dash is, probably, the best example of a party / co-op racer to date. I would as far as to say it's better than the wii version. In almost all aspects.

Ignore that, sour grapes there. MGS: Twin Snakes is the greatest game in the Metal Gear Series. So what if it was an exclusive? Didums have to get the GC just for this, awwwww. I would have. It's good enough to warrant a GC just for Twin Snakes.

I'll try and branch off from stuff that's already been said.
I liked Chibi Robo, if only for how different it is from the norm;
If you like Pokemon, there's 2 full games (like the verions, not the stadiums)
I've heard good things about Viewtiful Joe,
and that's all I can think of.

I loved Burnout on the cube. It really delivered the feel of speed and the crashes looked great.

Not saying that it had the BEST games, but it was the system I had the most fun eith. I will admit that my perception my be a little coloured, given that when the gamecube came out, I had just moved out of home for the first time with a bunch of mates and we spent many many many hours on the thing.

Looking back there weren't that many games I loved on Gamecube yet it still remains one of my favourite systems of all time. For me Rogue Squadron, Wind Waker and Pikmin alone make it worth having one.

Yes. Ocarina of Time, Killer-7, Twighlight Princess, Resident Evil Zero, Phantasy Star Online, Sanity's Requiem, Wind Waker. Yes, there weren't much games on the blue box, but, what little games there where, are awesome.

There's also some other games I used to play on it, Metroid Prime, Star Fox, Resident Evil 4, so much good games overflowing from the thing.

Correct me if I missed it somehow but why hasn't ANYONE mentioned either F-Zero GX or Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader? The former is the fastest, most insane sci-fi racer ever made, the latter may have been a launch title but is STILL the most authentic Star Wars dogfighting game ever made on ANY console. Its recreation of the Battle of Endor was just staggering. It's also worth getting Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike; the game itself was easily the worst in the Rogue Squadron series (any level that WASN'T in a space fighter sucked, although the speeder bike chase was pretty cool) but it included the ENTIRE GAME OF ROGUE LEADER as a 2 player split-screen co-op as a BONUS FEATURE!

I'd also recommend the Pikmin games, Tales of Symphonia, Batallion Wars and, if you haven't already played it on Wii, Zelda: Twilight Princess. In fact, I prefer Twilight Princess on Gamecube than the Wii and I still hold it is the BEST game in the entire Zelda series, bar none.
