Any mass attack games?

I just played this terrible indy game on the Xbox, called Farm Furry. It's a Mass Attack game like they use to have on Star Craft.

God I have such fond memories playing those. I even made a hack of Simpsons Mass Attack, turning it into Terrorist Mass Attack. I had the suicide bombers added no matter the tier, and it was fun.

I was hoping someone could point me in the direction on some other Mass Attack games.

Starcraft had my favorite Mass Attack game modes. The zombie invasion maps were the best. The concept has been sort of translated into the Horde Mode idea, with waves of attackers, but I'd still love to have another game like those old Starcraft custom maps.

What exactly are Mass Attack games?

If they're games in which you're in an limited space and are facing waves upon waves of ever increasing enemies, with the only way for the the game to end is your eventually death, then I can think of a couple.

Dawn of War 2: Retribution has the Last Stand mode, in which you and some co-op partners each choose a hero character from any of the races, and have to survive against as may waves of foes as possible.

Space Marine also has a similar mode, but from a TPS perspective, but since it's a relatively old THQ game, I'm not sure about the state of online play.

Nation Red on Steam is an enjoyable zombie horde games, in which you move your dude around in a 2.5D birds-eye perspective and shoot at wherever you point your mouse... it would probably be called a 'Twin-Stick Shooter' if you used a gamepad. It's a lot of fun with a multitude of weapons and a great perk/levelling up system.

Killing Floor on Steam could be considered a Mass Attack game, if I knew the correct definition of Mass Attack. Either way it's lots of fun in which you're pitted against increasing waves of foes, but is a FPS.
