I am a musician. I was wondering if anyone else here played any instruments and what kind they play.

For example I play guitar and bass. I have a Fender Stratocaster and a Squier Presicion Bass. I play my guitar more than my bass.

I play guitar (Godin Freeway, Ibanez AG, Fender MIM telecaster, no-name seven string), Bass (no name p-bass copy), a bit of piano, and drums. I consider myself competent at guitar and bass. I am in love with music theory.

I've played the piano for thirteen years, but I wouldn't really consider myself a musician.

Search bar por favor.

Been playing the piano for around 12 years, guitar for 10. Own a Yamaha piano, Gibson Les Paul Custom guitar, Fender strat, Washburn acoustic, and a no-name Spanish classical guitar.

I also play the alto sax, drums, and bass, but none very well. Well enough that I can say I play those instruments I guess.

Guitar and bass. I've got an Epiphone SG, a great Guild acoustic from the 70s my mom gave me and a piece of crap bass I'm borrowing from a friend that I don't think has had a change of strings for the better part of two decades.

I play bass and study popular music and performance at uni. I've played bass for 2 and a half years. I love all styles, I'm better at Rock (because its easy) but I am kinda good at groove based stuff, like funk, disco and to a lesser extent, dance. I am currently in a Dance band at uni and I am teaching.

I own a Fender Jazz 24 V (the one with 24 frets, and its a five string) currently tuned B-E-A-D-G but I am getting new strings this week and I will tune it E-A-D-G-C. I'll be able to play chords, melodies and solos better but its mainly because I am lazy.

I don't own an amp but I use the ones at uni, Fender Rumble 100. Nothing special but I really like them.

I play drums and bass; Tama Rockstar set and Fender Stratocaster. I get by with drums (been playing for 7+ years) and I suck at bass (I'm just starting to learn). I can also play percussion instruments like marimba.

I play the french horn. I'm no wonder-person, but I'm okay at it. I've only tried to play a few other instruments, the piano and the recorder, and failed terribly at both. (Yeah, I sucked at the recorder but I can play a french horn. I wonder about that too...)

I know how to play guitar, bass, drums, and trumpet. I play guitar bass and drums mostly since I'm a soon-to-be drummer in my friend's band, and I play guitar and B and D parts in my 2man group.
Got a Fender Stratocaster, Epi les Paul, Fender Prec. Bass, and a um Tama drumset.
I aspire to be a musician and I think if I somehow can't I'll go insaneeeeeee

- Korg Electribe MX1 sequencer/ synth.
- Korg KP3 sampler and effects proccesor
- Roland Sp-404 Sampler
- Korg Kaossilator

I'm reconstructing my web site so I can't show off my stuff right now. Give a week.

Got a real hard on for Korg, eh? Can't say I blame you - I own 2 Kaoss Pad KP2s I use in a serial effects chain and am planning on getting a KP3 eventually... looks delicious. Maybe someday I'll get 2x Korg MS20 + 1x MS50 modular system (in my dreams).

My (hardware)gear:
- Mackie HR824 High Resolution Studio Monitors
- Mackie 1642-VLZ 16 Channel Analog Mixer w/ XDR Preamps
- Edirol UA-25 USB Audio Interface
- M-Audio Midiman 4x4 USB Midi Interface
- Furman PL+ Power Conditioner
- AudioTechnica AT2020 Cardioid Condenser Microphone w/ Phantom Power
- PreSonus VXP Mic Preamp and Voice Processor (Compressor, Expander, Desser, Parametric EQ, Master Limiter)
- Roland V-Synth Synthesizer Keyboard w/ Variphrase Sampling, COSM, Effects Processing
- Roland V-Synth GT Synthesizer Keyboard w/ (above) + Articulation Phrase Synthesis and Vocal Designer
- Clavia Nord Modular G2 Synthesizer Keyboard w/ 160 DSP Modules.
- Clavia Nord Micromodular Desktop Synthesizer
- Korg Kaoss Pad KP2 Dynamic Effects Processor
- Korg Electribe ER-1 MKII Synthesizer Drum Machine
- M-Audio MK-425c USB Midi Keyboard and Control Surface
- M-Audio UC-33 USB Midi Control Surface
- Edirol R-09H portable USB Wave Recorder
- 2x Yorkville Passive Direct Input Boxes
- Boss Metalzone MT-2 Distortion Pedal

Thus represents a decade of saving, scouring classifieds, sniping Ebay bids and general MIDI gear enthusiasm.
Haha. Gotta love 'em. I've always loved Korg hardware (especially their synths.), Roland is pretty cool to, my first synth./sampler was a Roland Ensoniq-EPS. Then I got heavily into drumming until I bought my MS2000 in 2001 at 200$ from a crackhead. I'm thinking of getting an Alesis Micron next month (although the MicroKorg XL looks sweet), much smaller, better for gigs. you got some pretty hardcore stuff there; That Clavia Nord sounds tasty.
