Any recommendations for online PSN games?

I recently got a PS3 and the first game I got was Mass Effect 2, thinking I'd have to buy the motion comic separately I bought a card for the PSN. In the end it turns out that wasn't the case and I'm left with about 20 bucks in my account.

I've been searching through the store hankering for an online-multiplayer game and I just can't seem to choose. Can I get a little help from my fellow Escapists?

As of right now I'm kinda waffling on getting either Castle Crashers or SkullGirls but feel free to suggest others... Just has to be less than 20 bucks. =P

(Note: Before anyone mentions Journey, I do plan to get it but I decided it would be worth it to wait until next month and buy the collectors edition. After playing the demo and looking at the extras the collector's edition seems totally worth the wait.

You can get the Killzone 3 multiplayer on PSN for about $10 I think. You can download it for free up to Sergeant rank first. Pretty fun, but not sure how many are online any more.

If you liked inFamous 2 then get Festival of Blood, it was like £8 last time I checked.

Uncharted 2. It's still pretty popular and you get all the DLC with it. However, Rika and Pinkerton are in the Eye of Indra DLC, which is seperate. It should be priced at around $3-4.

Servers are still alive and kicking. I played a couple of days ago and had no problem finding servers to play on, whatsoever. Also, I'd like to second this notion, Killzone 3 multiplayer is just plain awesome. It's well balanced, got very distinct classes, well implemented unlock system and is really fun to play, all in all.

Flower is an awesome and totally unique game, I recommend to anyone, gamer or otherwise. Also Bastion is well worth checking out if your into RPG type games. The PS1 Final Fantasy games are also great if you missed those the first time around.

Totally agree with all three choices there. I'm also a big fan of Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars but it's been a while since I tried it online.

I reccomend either Castlevaia Harmoy of Despair or Hard corps Uprising,both are awesome sidescrollers,altough both start out slow,they get awesome when you learn how to play,in the event that you get any of these games please add me so that we may play together,my Psn is CuyoSentinel.

Worms 2: Armageddon -They're worms. They blow each other up with weird weapons. (online)
Battlefield 1943 -Classic battlefield renovated with Bad Company's frostbite engine. (only online)
