Any suggestion for Morrowind mods?

I'm waxing nostalgic. I want to reinstall Morrowind GOTY on to my laptop. So i'm looking for mods to make the game more interesting mostly better graphics. I dont want anything that makes elves look Tolkien-esque or anime hair cuts or major gameplay changes. So let me know what you guys have tried how it ran and if you enjoyed it?

I tried the Morrowind Overhaul and animkit but i really couldn't get it to run so the simpler it use to install and set up would be great.

The Less Generic NPC Project has mods for practically every NPC in the game to have better dialogue, personal backstory, jobs, and even quests. Definitely makes the game feel much more alive when you talk to people.
