Yes, I know this has probably been done many many times before but I would like suggestions please of new games I can buy. I like a mix of things so open to all suggestions. I would prefer for the game to have a multiplayer (and preferably good for both on and offline) So please can you suggest your favourite games to me please

If you want a game that will suck days out of your life and you won't even care, look no further than the wonderful Civ series. I have willingly spent entire days devoted to killing those pesky mongols with nukes.

Another game would be Batman AA, just worth spending money on to show those people that their game is awesome. Lets see, oh and if have an older console system, TIMESPLITTERS!!!!

Can you be a little more specific? What consoles do you own or are you referring to PC games? Good multiplayer with a good single player campaign can be found on a lot of first person shooters. Also, do you prefer competitive or cooperative multiplayer or a mix of both?

Ah yes, apologies. I have an xbox 360 and steam (as well as most of the older consoles)
I like both (for instance I love the left 4 dead series as it is both co-operative and competitive)
And yea, I'd like a good single player also, but at the minute it's mostly the multiplayer I want
