Specifically, I got the Mask of the Betrayer expansion, but it doesn't let you use the added stuff in the original game, only the expansion module. I was wondering if there's a way to do so. I want to use epic characters in the original module, dammit.

Well, I'm not sure if your level is going to get that much above 20 in Mask of the Betrayer so I don't think the epic feats would be of much use in NWN2. However, I think things like the new races and classes you can choose from when you start NWN2 if you have Mask of the Betrayer installed. I didn't install Mask of the Betrayer until after I was already some hours into NWN2 so I can't really say but it is what i read in the manuals and forums and stutf.

It should be entirely possible. Are you fully patched, and using the MotB .exe instead of the vanilla one?

Why would you want to? Mask of the Betrayer is much better than the original campaign anyway, play through it once and you've little reason to go back. Or at least so I've thought, I know there are a couple people quite fond of the OC.

Anyway, yeah, expansion content in the original campaign. You're in luck, there's a mod for that... erm, or at least there used to be. The only one I can find now is for the second expansion, Storm of Zehir. Hmm. Link. Basically converts the original campaign into the second expansions ruleset and added improvements, plus a few fan-made adjustments and tweaks for a more smooth and enjoyable experience. I thought there was a similar mod with Mask of the Betrayer, but I can't seem to find it unfortunately.

Most of the thing MotB does are focused towards ridiculously high level characters anyway, aside from some races and prestige classes added in, there were minimal other changes especially at a lower level. Should be able to use that anyway though, just load the game up via MotB launcher and select the original campaign, that stuff should be there, though I don't think I've ever actually checked myself.

Well, I just got my hands on a copy of Storm of Zehir, and I fully updated the game. Thank you for the help, everyone!

Good luck with the bugs. Hopefully you won't encounter the ones that prevent you from advancing through the plot.

Still, it's a good game.

Hope you enjoy. Be sure to check out the other mods on that website I linked to, some are really, really good and now that you've got both expansions there's nothing to stop you from trying em.

Games gotten two expansions and a metric ton of patches, the series is fairly bug free by this point and all the major ones have certainly been cleaned up. I wouldn't worry!

Then I envy you. I spent an afternoon modding world map functionality back into the game because I couldn't leave Fort Locke, even after uninstalling, reinstalling, and repatching.
