They're okay. I enjoyed the "Land of the Free" [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cmW2XH_xtKQ] album but find the rest kinda bland.

I'm currently working my way through this guy's [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.160169?page=5#4052247] list which has many other great (mainly obscure) metal bands if you want to find more music that is similar.

I was always too lazy to get into them, but the few songs I heard of them are fucking awesome. I mean how can they not be awesome when they got Michael Kiske of Helloween ?

i saw a gamma ray song live "out in space" i believe it was. i was not impressed. either they sucked or kai hansen was just off that night.

i'm as metalhead as they come and i tried to like gamma ray but they came up short, especially when there are much better metal bands out there.

no disrespect intended but gamma ray isn't for me.
