Anyone doing Reading Festival 2011?

A few mates already got tickets in teh pre-line up sale in December and invited me along. Would I be able to get tickets when they come out in March again and still be guaranteed Ill end up with those guys or is it split up into camping sections or something? (I haven't been to a music festival in years so Its all a bit alien to me lol)

I haven't been for 6 years, but there wasn't camping sections then...it really wasn't particularly organised.

You trade your ticket for a wristband that lets you get into the area with all the stages, pretty much everything else is up to you.

You have to be careful about buying your tickets this year, its being done with photo ID apparently!

I don't know much about Reading... not my kind of festival.

Pretty sure it's just camp where you like within a certain area, though I wouldn't know for sure seeing as I've never been to Reading, Download is where it's at.

You know im goin, goin with my mates and my girlfriend, might camp, might stay at her house in cemetary junction. Not too sure yet, all i know is i have tickets from way back in december. You live nearby? I hope muse play this year, or the blackout.
